In August of 2010 I bought a pair of Banyan 412-02s. It was the first time I ever paid more than $30 for a pair of sunglasses. These glasses were awesome. They looked great, fit great, and the polarized lenses were great for my eyes. Soon after I had them, I scratched one of the lenses. I used MJs repair procedures and had them fixed. Because I had just gotten them I was given a huge discount on the repair charges. Awesome. It is now a little over two years later. I was playing with my two year old grandson and both of the temples was broken off the glasses. I was crushed. I thought I would have to buy another set. I called MJ just to see If I could order some new temples and fix them myself to try to save some money. I was told to send them in and they would be repaired for only the $10 processing fee. I mailed them off on a Tuesday and received them back fully repaired on the Following Friday. Not only were they fixed but MJ had given me a new case and cleaning pouch to replace the worn out ones that I had mailed them in. The glasses were also cleaned extremely well. This is the kind of service that reassures me that I did the right thing buying MJ sunglasses. If ever the day comes when I need new sunglasses, They will definitely be Maui Jim sunglasses.

I previously had a pair of Hummer Polarized sunglasses and I thought they were the best pair of shades I had ever owned, that is until I got a pair of Maui Jims. These are incredible. It's like watching the world through HD lenses. The shade of brown is just right for outdoor activities. They are light with a surprisingly stiff frame. Well worth the money.

I have the bronze lense version... here are my pluses and minuses:
+ Optically great
+ Nice style
- Nose bridge oversized and visible through the lenses (Navin R. Johnson)
= Probably better for a larger face or those who are looking for full eye coverage.

Overall very nice glasses... I'm partial to bronze lense glasses.

Sales Lady recommended these for me, they look great when most glasses don't. I have a larger head so glasses are always hard to find. Also the frames are very flexible for my active life.

Within weeks of purchase, I lost my first pair of Banyans and just knew I needed another one. The optics are amazing and the wrap makes it so that I can drive, play sports, pretty much anything without feeling closed off and I know they wont fly off my face. Definitely Recommended****

What can I say - they're awesome! Great looking, light and comfortable and the visual acuity is just fantastic. Everything looks better in my "Jims." I'm definitely in the market for another pair!

This pair is very comfortable and lightweight for every day use. I especially love them for driving, my peripheral vision is never obstructed.

I am a Law Enforcement Officer and have worn many sunglases over the years. These glases are by far the best. They keep the glare out and everything is clear and sharp. I had my reading prescription put in mine and now I can go all day and not take them off. I highly recommend these Maui jims .

I think this product is best for: General Purpose, Driving, Golf/tennis

"Out of my three Maui Jim's this is the one I use most. I am terrible when it comes to conserving shades but these can take a beating.

Used to own the earlier sports model (think it was the 407) but left it on a plane. replaced them with this one, opting for the HT lens. Did notice that those Evolution lenses offer just more than the earlier polycarbonate.

The lens color of these is just perfect for tennis, padle etc. Am not surprised these are out of stock at the moment of writing this review!"
