I've been a Maui Jim fan for a few years now and have owned 5 different styles. I bought Banyans last year to replace my beloved Ho'okipas but they just didn't quite do it for me, I still preferred the Ho'okipas. I just happened to stumble across these Breakwalls on vacation and was instantly in love.

They are super light and flexible which makes them super comfortable. I'm extremely picky about comfort and most sunglasses give me a headache with the pressure on my nose and I end up pulling them off. But these are really light and comfortable. I compared them directly to the Big Beach sunglasses and I actually preferred the Breakwalls.

I have had my Breakwalls only for a weekend but I'm in love. I got them on the recommendation of my eye doctor to help slow the progression of my corneal dystrophy. I have warn Oakley's and other name brand sunglasses and I can say that I am completely satisfied with Maui Jim. Their attention to details and quality of product for the money is exceptional. I choose the Breakwall because I wanted a pair that didn't feel "heavy". At times I didn't think I had them on. They have full coverage and unlike most sunglasses, I don't see the nose pieces in my peripheral vision. They are light and feel flimsy but with everything I have read and seen these will last the test of time. I will be buying another pair as backup and get a pair for my wife. I'm a Maui Jim cust. for life. Thanks!

LIGHT WAIT, CRISP AND CLEAR, NONSLIP I AM A RESCUE-MEDIC AND I ALSO FIGHT FOREST FIRES I TOOK THIS GLASSES TO AN ACTUAL FIRE I CAN SAY THE BEST EVER I OWNED. I WAS SWEATING AND I CAN TELL YOU THIS SUNGLASSES DONOT SLIP AND STAY IN PLACE EXCELLENT PROTECTION AND THE VIEW IS SIMPLY THE BEST.

I've reviewed and tested over 20 different frames / lenses from multiple golf / sporting companies with prices ranging from $100 - $300, in search of a sunglass to compliment my golf game. Most differed on their oopinions of the best color of lense for the course and I admit that the purple lense offered by many companies gave a great read into the grain of the greens and brightens the environment well. However, after trying the Breakwalls with the HT lense my decision was finalized.

The Breakwalls HT lense made everything pop. I could read the greens with ease, distinguish my ball in the distance and glare was significantly reduced. The other perk is that you can take these off of the course without looking like a princess in purple. Some other perks are as follows...

The lenses on the break wall are a bit taller than most so when you address the ball the bottom cut is not visible in your peripheral vision.

The frames are lightweight and upon flexing them in any direction they pop right back into form.

If you persperate the nose peices actually grip your skin and become slip resitant, also, if sweat hits the lense it beads and falls off immediately.

Personally, I don't understand why these aren't marketed as Golf Specific in some way, shape, or form, as Im sure Golf Digest would rate these just as highly as I have. I'm impressed and extremely satisfied with my purchase.

I just picked these up today.

Great pair of glasses. Great quality as my other Maui Jim's (3rd pair), very stylish and comfortable.

I bought it at Spivak in Englewood Colorado and the Maui Jim Rep was there. Great guy. I chatted with him a bit and told him I was a big fan of Maui Jim..

Great for everyday use, lightweight, comfortable. And stylish. Plus they come at a reasonable price for the quality. I have worn Maui Jim glasses for years and they just keep getting better.

When i went to purchase an all purpose sun glases this perticular model really attracted me a lot because it was really very light and attractive. I found atleast 5 reasons to use this one insted of my Ray Ban.

First pair ever. Never heard of Maui Jim. They fit great, light, comfortable.
I can see so clear especially playing golf and driving doesn't hurt my eyes no more.

I've owned many Maui's over the years. I was waiting for a rimless design that did not involve putting screws into the lenses which often caused the plastic to crack after awhile. These new ultra lightweight Breakwalls are fantastic - so good in fact I bought the grey lenses for sunny days AND the HT lense versions for low light. For the price they are a great value, super light and comfortable - best Maui's I've owned to date.

These are my first pair of Maui Jim sunglasses and I don't think I'll ever buy anything else! They are so light-weight and fit perfectly. The view through my Breakwalls is better than without them. Plus, I think I look great in them!
