Neutral Grey: Perfect for especially bright, direct sunlight. Offers rich color and contrast along with the highest available light production, unlike ordinary grey lenses that flatten light evenly across the spectrum.
HCL® Bronze: For everyday variable conditions, from full sun to overcast. Provides excellent contrast. Great if you love a warm, subtle bronze tint.
Maui HT™: High-Transmission for times when most lenses would be too dark — sharper contrast and more vibrant color for early morning, late afternoon and foggy days. Heightens contrast and depth of field so that low light is perceived with new vibrancy.
PolarizedPlus®2: In every pair of Maui Jims you’ll find our patented, color-infused lens technology that wipes out 99.9% of glare, 100% of harmful UV and boosts color via specially designed lens treatments. So your view is clearer, with crisper contrast and amazing brilliance.
Maui Evolution®: When you need an everyday lens for your active life, look to the lens that fuses the best properties of SuperThin glass and polycarbonate. Extremely lightweight. Scratch- and impact-resistant. Patented lens treatments bring the world’s true colors to life. With the high-performance optics you need to keep up with your outdoor sports.
CLEARSHELL® Scratch Coating: A proprietary, silicone-based hard coat that protects your lenses. Glass is naturally scratch-resistant but Maui Evolution and polycarbonate lenses perform better longer with the added durability of our optically correct Clearshell. Applied to front and back of the lens.

Great go-to frame
Review by: Eric -
Durability Style Value Fit I own eight (soon to be nine) Maui Jims. This is my go to pair for the lake, casual events like lake and casual restaurants. Really, it's a great style to have for any occasion. The large evolution lens provides great peripheral and overhead coverage utilizing a 6 base curve and does a wonderful job keeping the whole sunglass very light when on. For a primary pair of sunglasses or if this is your first pair I recommend the HCL Bronze lens for everyday use. Then, when you're ready to expand your arsenal, a pair of each lens color will suffice.

Arms will scratch the middle of Lens
Review by: Brad -
Value Fit Durability Style Love the glasses but be cautions when not using them. I have rubbed a nice line inside the lens from the end of the arms. I wear them everyday but place them in my shirt pocket and this has caused the inside of the lens to get a nice vertical line in the sight of vision. If I would of known that you must fold the right arm in first this would of never happened. Be careful not to fold in the left arm in first! Great Glasses overall!

Love these glasses; would love more color options

Fit Durability Style Value These have been my favorite glasses since purchasing them last year. I wanted a brown pair and gray pair but since only the brown was available, I bought the Tortoise / HCL Bronze version. If they had the Grey Black Stripe / Neutral Grey option available on the Surf Rider (which is slightly too small for my face) I would buy those too.

Not perfect for your hair!
Review by: Jen -
Fit Durability Style Value I am a ski instructor, I where them all year round 4-5 hours a day. The lense is fantastic. This is my family's sunglasses brand but being the only girl this particular frame caches in my hair and I have to pull out my hair. This is the first fame that has ever done that.
