Proprietary MauiGradient Lenses: MauiGradient features a darker coating at the top that gradually gets lighter moving down the lens. So an appropriate amount of light is allowed to filter through certain areas, while less in places where protection is paramount. Simply the best

Style Value Fit Durability This is my first pair of MJ lenses. I fell in love with them instantly. No other sunglasses style, fit and quality compare. The Cliff house fit perfectly on my larger than average head. One key are the arm's flexibility and The best remarkable glasses. I HAD to get another pair in the silver frame since these are Gold/Bronze.
I never have to touch to make sure they don't fall off during activities.The once downer- If you wear certain hair products (such as leave in conditioner or hair serum like "frizz ease") be prepared to clean the lenses more often. Any type of residue seems to largely impact the effectiveness of these.(Posted on 4/28/13)

Style Value Fit Durability I already own 5 pairs of MJs and my husband owns 2 pairs, should've known better! I really really wanted a pair of traditional aviators so I went with 2 pairs of Ray Bans, should've known better! I wore them only one day and could not quit squinting and putting my hand up to shade my eyes like a ball cap, should've known better! I really wanted the Ray Bans to work out, should've known better! Ended up taking them back and am trying this pair--as soon as I put them on, my eyes instantly relaxed, should've known better! My husband says MJs are like ice cream for the eyes---nice and smooth! Can't wait to break these in!

Durability Style Value Fit I'm a ray ban and coach fan mainly because of their style; however, when I visited sun glass hut, I tried on the Cliff House sunglasses, I fell in love. I fell in love not only with the style but the ability to wear them indoors without a significance difference in lighying from outside - versus those heavily tinted glasses that you must take off as you enter into any building so you can see! I wore my pair indoors and the colors were very close as they were without wearing them. I'm now a fan!

Fit Durability Style Value Absolutely love these glasses, this is my sixth pair of Maui Jim's and I have always been a fan of Maui Jim's because of their quality and technology encased in their glasses. I rather pay for these types of factors then the high end name sunglasses that don't have these benefits.
The cliff house is a very light weight fit, I have the grey gradient lense that I find to be very beautiful. In addition it has a beautiful finish that is pleasing to the eye. Can be worn with any outfit, giving you a stunning appeal. A thumbs up with the cliff house, well worth the money!(Posted on 12/3/12)

I was already a big fan of Maui Jim, so when I was in the market for a new pair of sunglasses, I came straight here. I have two pairs of Kapalu, which I love because they are light weight, medium sized, and have a great shape. I really wanted a pair of aviators, but every pair I've tried felt way too heavy. The Cliff House design is new and I couldn't find them anywhere to try, so I took a chance and ordered them online.
I purchased the Gunmetal (Silver) Neutral Grey, but debated on getting the new Maui HT lenses. But after looking through photos, I knew I wouldn't have liked the green cast mirrored lenses. Straight out of the box I knew I made the right decision. The frames keep in line with the oversize aviator style, but they aren't completely cumbersome for my medium sized face.
I am pleasantly surprised that these are almost as light as my Kapalu shades and of course lighter than any aviators I've tried. Love the stylish shape and the grey lenses that look a bit gradient. All in all, I think these might be my new favorite pair of sunglasses.(Posted on 11/28/12)
