Awesome Sunglasses for a Low Cost

Very light. The lenses themselves have next to no weight...just kinda sit on the nose without feeling them there. I own the Bronze lens which is great for anytime, especially lower light situations like dusk or overcast days.
The only thing I've noticed about these are that when you have close set eyes like I do you can see the nose pieces. My wife's eyes are more normally set apart from one another and she does not have this issue.
I recommend looking at the Pilot or another metal frame with a similar lens shape if you don't mind spending the $$$. They are even lighter and have a better nosepiece.(Posted on 11/28/12)

Love These Glasses but.......

After an very long process of elimination these were THE GLASSES.... the look, the fit, the price PERFECT. But, hold on a minute..... I bought these and put them on while driving and I was going cross eyed! I put my old glasses on an ahhhh relief! It is the screws on the nose bridge. They are actually in your vision. Some folks can deal with it I couldn't. I had to return them. Be sure to actually try this under real world conditions outside of looking in the mirror in a store.

Not the worst

Bought the Hapuna less than 10 months ago. The durability of the frame has been disappointing. The nose piece has already broken and I am very careful with my glasses. The nose piece screws are very distracting. The lenses are great but the frame issues discourage me from ever considering this product again. Sorry.

I have about 5 pairs of different kinds of Maui Jim's but I really enjoy this particulat modael as the feel and comfort is great. I play a lot of sports and seem to be the best fit as far as endurance and fell. I would recommend these to anyone that is very active.

My first pair of Maui JIm's and clearly the best sunglasses I've owned. Very good visibility in glare situations on and near the water. I do not have the problem others have mentioned of nosepiece scerws obstructing vision. They sit perfectly on my face. Snug secure fit during activity.

Could you redesign these glasses with some staying power. I have broken 2 pairs now at the same place. Right wherre they pivot the plastic breaks. Looks to be poorly designed when you see how thin the plastic is at that point.

Unlike any other sunglasses you will ever have!!!!

This is my second pair of Maui Jim sunglasses. I wanted another style for a change. Once you wear Maui Jims you WILL NOT go back to other brands. All my friends that have tried mine on have also purchased the same brand. The glare is gone!!! Yours eyes feel so rested after a day in the sun and at first you do not realize why until you compare them to others. My entire family got a pair our first trip to Hawaii because of the sun and glare. To this day we all still wear Maui Jims!! Their customer service is excellent too if you have any repairs to be made on them. (Airline security crushed my husbands in his carry on bag) Styles are Great also!!!!LOVE EM!!!!!!!!!!
