cracks around screws

I like the glasses but they do crack around the screws and makes the glasses fit loose on your face. I've sent them back to Maui Jim 3 times to fix and the problem remains.

Riding from surf to ridge hoping

From the breakers to the top of the peaks these s/g,s are a must for glare and sun protection for your eyes. Lightweight yes! Also extremelly well suited for whatever comes up out off the water or on the trail.(ski or moun tain biking, hiking).

Great Sunglasses, fragile though be aware!

I bought these glasses and loved them! They were crystal clear and very light on the face. They are very fragile though so be gentle. My glasses broke in half just cleaning them with a cloth. I have returned them for a pair of Banyans which are almost identical with an additional support piece at the bridge of the glasses. I hope customer service honors my request for an exchange.

I love these glasses so much that I purchased a second pair when the nose piece was being repaired. The service is another great point with the Maui Jim sunglasses. Very smooth transaction. One phone call dropped them in the mail and they were repaired and sent back. Overall great product and customer experience.

Too much flex in the frames

I guess one of the best features of these glasses (the light weight frames), can be one of it's worst features. It fit just fine when I bought it, but I guess with taking them on / off and the heat of the sun baking on the frame, they kind of lost their ideal fit to my face. The lower edge of the glass now rubs up against my cheek and is distracting. I still have them as a back-up set of sunglasses. I have since purchased a set of Maui Jim's Sunset 402's (tortoise / Maui rose) and those are the BOMB when it comes to sunglasses. The frame is still light weight, but much more rigid. And the (tortoise / Maui rose) combo can't be beat.

Great Shades

This is my second pair. Both have been gifts from my company. I got these a week ago today. They are almost the same as my first pair with a little bigger lense. The clarity still amazes me. They are also very durable.. I highly recommend these to anyone

I'VE HAD THESE SUNNIES FOR 4 YEARS NOW AND HAVE BEEN REALLY HAPPY WITH THEM UNTIL A SMALL SCREW THAT HOLDS THE LENSE IN PLACE SNAPED AND THE SUNNIES FELL APART. I WILL GET THEM REPAIRED AS I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THEM

I have owned Maui Jims' for the last 10 years. I will never own another brand of glasses. The Maui Jim Sport (or Ho'okipa 407) is another wonderful item that is well versed for all applications. Being a lightweight item, they have given me thousands of hours of enjoyment. I currently own three pairs of these, as well as other styles. Once you go with Maui Jim, you'll never be fully satisified with any other brand.
