Lenses

Neutral Grey: Perfect for especially bright, direct sunlight. Offers rich color and contrast along with the highest available light production, unlike ordinary grey lenses that flatten light evenly across the spectrum.

Maui Rose®: For everyday variable conditions, from full sun to overcast. The highest contrast available – excellent for fast moving sports. Provides a subtle rose tint.

PolarizedPlus®2: In every pair of Maui Jims you’ll find our patented, color-infused lens technology that wipes out 99.9% of glare, 100% of harmful UV and boosts color via specially designed lens treatments. So your view is clearer, with crisper contrast and amazing brilliance.

Polycarbonate: When durability and protection against shattering are the priority, choose a lens that stands up to your most intense activities. Scratch- and impact-resistant. Injection molded for crisp optics. With patented lens treatments that infuse your view with vivid color. Your lightest choice for long days in the sun.

best sun glases ever
Review by: vlade

this product was recommended to me a good friend that sells some optical products but said he did one time had some Maui Jim glasses , and love then by them, i' have try many name brands before i' purchased my first Maui Jim glasses ,some were good , some were great but, they all were to heavy or cause some side affect such as red eye or even dry eye for wearings to long on the water, until i' bought my first pair of Maui Jim's at first i' was some what apprehensive of the product, and the price but after a few days, and the way this feel any dough when out the door, i; use this glasses for driving fishing , and protect my eyes from the daily ultraviolet rays that we all are expose daily, i' have some major brands that i' still have such Georgi Armani and sometimes wear then but, my favor will always be Maui Jim .

Are there other sunglasses??
Review by: PeterFranks

I bought my first pair 10 years ago. The sales agent said "you'll never wear another pair of sunglasses again." And I have not. Maui's are the gold standard. Lenses, frames, style, and weight are unequaled. I live in San Diego and could not live here without them.

Great Sunglasses
Review by: Arbat3

Just had eye surgery and advised to get a pair or premium sunglasses. Tried several (Under Armour, Ray Ban, Oakley), but these were the best style and best performing. Hopefully that translates into best value, since they weren't cheap.

Simply the best!
Review by: Slapshot

I worked a Senior Tour golf event in Minnesota and had Fuzzy Zoeller in the group. He was wearing "MJs" and I bought a pair soon after. They're great for everyday wear - light and comfortable. I've been been partial to Serengeti but will likely stick with Maui Jim. Excellent for any type of snow cover.

Light weight and comfortable
Review by: howardbubbles

Bought my wife a pair of Maui Jims and she raved so much about them I had to try them out. Used another brand while playin golf and seemed to lose the ball in flight (they were polarized glasses). The Maui Jims I bought are amazing, I can track the golf ball through it's whole flight, even if it is cloudy. Great glasses they are light weight and very comfortable.

Lightweight and flexible with full coverage.
Review by: jensene8

I bought these up in Tortoise with Maui Rose lenses and absolutely love them! They are so light that I hardly realize I have them on and the rubber on the nose piece and ears makes them feel secure. They wrap around enough to give full coverage and the open frames provide unobstructed views. This winter they have been comfortable, stylish, and functional so I can't wait to see how great they are this summer when I start to really put them through their paces!

Scratched Lenses
Review by: Nitro

These sunglasses worked very well when they were new. But only after a year or so, the lenses got scratched from regular use. I do not abuse glasses and always keep them in a case, but now they are useless from scratches on the inside and out.

So unless you are willing to pay $70 to replace the lenses every year (and be without the glasses for 2 weeks, because you HAVE to send them in) go ahead and buy them. Otherwise I would not recommend them.

Sharp, distinct, lightweight
Review by: DLJB

After purchasing them, I put on the glasses and was amazed how sharp and clear my vision was for driving. They are lightweight but sturdy. I love them!

Great...until they scratch
Review by: ilikebeer

I've worn glasses for more than three decades, and I'm particular about the lenses being dirty or scratched. I never, ever clean them with anything but soft cloth. These sunglasses are outstanding -- best I've ever had -- for about a year. At this point, the lenses are so scratched inside and out that they're unusable.

As long as you never wipe them, you'll be fine. Otherwise, plan on a limited lifespan.

Best Sunglasses hands down
Review by: Camuai

I bought these sunglasses almost 3 years ago, and they are still the best glasses I have ever own. And if it wasn't for the fact that I put them in my backpack when I got on a plane, they wouldnt even have a scratch on them.

I will def buy another pair. The frames flex to my head/face perfectly and remain secure and comfortable.
