I would have never picked these glasses out if they were not recomended so strongly to me by a sales rep for Maui Jim.They are the best!Super light,nice tint,perfect for my equstrian events.Not so dark that you cant see in the shadows.Would be great for skiing also.Fit perfect and stay in place.If your looking for great sports glasses please try these on.They look great too.Maui Jim is not only a beach sunglass,its all purpose

One word describes these sunglasses, incredible! This is my first pair of Maui Jim's and I could not be happier. The HCL® Bronze lense is just perfect, not too dark or too light. The clarity, the boldness of colors and protection is really something. My eyes have never been more comfortable and relaxed while outside. The titanium temples allow them to flex and contour to your head & face to make the fit ideal. These top shelf premium sunglasses are worth every penney! I'm going to order another pair just as a back-up.

I had a pair of the 501's for about 5 years and they broke the other day. I had the Kahuna before that and both were great. The thing about MJ's is that you don't realize what level of sight comfort that they provide until you can't put them on your face everyday. I fish everyday, and a GOOD pair of sunglasses is a must.

I prefer their rimless metal styles because they are durable and quite a bit lighter than the other glasses. You really can't feel these on your face. Every pair of sunglasses that I have owned from MJ has been the Maui Rose lens. I really like those and find them suitable for all conditions. However, I purchased these (the Honulua Bay) a couple of days ago and bought the Amber/HCL Bronze lens. These, in my opinion, are better than the Maui Rose. I've been wearing them for a couple of days and they are truly phenomenal. I wear them in overcast and bright conditions and they do everything that I need them to do. I have no complaints. $300 bucks may seem like a lot to pay for sunglasses, but you'll be glad you bought them. These babies will pay for themselves.

I heard about Maui Jim sunglasses a few years back. The guy wearing them said you can see better and the comfort level is great. I went to a dealer and saw the prices and said not in my lifetime! Well my fiance knew I always wanted a pair and she just got me these as a gift. The guy I talked to was dead on! There is no glare, they have the perfect tint, and they fit like a glove. I can't take them off! I also played golf in them yesterday and they felt nice and snug on my face all day. I was also able to read the greens with shadows very nicely. If you are thinking about buying these...stop thinking and do it! Best gift I have gotten in years. Well worth the extra bucks.

I had the plastic frame version of these which broke regularly, but I loved the way they looked and the way they fit. I was reluctant to upgrade to the new metal frames but glad I did. They fit relatively the same and are way more durable. The optics are great as usually. I hope Maui Jim makes these for a long time. Best glasses I have ever owned.

These were the best gift anybody ever gave me. I wear them everyday..fishing, driving, casual. I have the titamium sides now, had the plastic before, but I kept breaking them...MJ repaired them free of charge 3 times before convining me to upgrade to the titamium....love, love, love them!! If there was a down side, it would be that you need two hands to put them on, but that is minor. I like that they stay put when I'm fishing!!

I am very disappointed in the prescription lenses that came with these glasses. I actually prefer my cheap wal mart specials to these, I find that if the sun is directly overhead or high in the sky, I get a splinter beam of light that blocks your vision ahead of you. I also found that unless you have a hat with a brim, light enters from the back and reflects off the lense. Save your money. Its really unfortunate I was hoping to use these flyfishing and for reading on the beach. My prescription is really pretty light 1.5 for reading.

Bought these after many days of research and found that the amber tint would be the best choice. Well I was right. Wore them for the first time today and all I can say is OMG! I'll never by another pair of cheap sunglasses again! Great clarity with out being to dark. Takes all of the glare out and the fit is just amazing. I could actually go running in these. Just spend the money and you won't regret it.

I have had many pair of Maui Jim sunglasses over the years which I believe to be the best in the world. Period! I have been very happy with the different models I have had in he past but after just purchasing the Honolua Bay model I can say they are my favorites by far! They look very good. They are incredibly light and comfortable. You forget they are even on your face. If you are active as I am, they stay put on your face like a barnacle to a rock! Great for everyday wear but unbeatable for biking, golf, running, boating or any other activity. To say the least I am beyond happy with these.
