I have been using contact lenses for over 25 years and has been quite "picky" when it comes to choose sunglasses. For almost 20 years I have been stubborn to stick with one brand only until now. A few days ago I went in to a Shop in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with my wife to look for sunglasses for her. After a moment I also started to try glasses, and from the first moment I put the Honolua Bay 516 (bronz) on I knew this was the beginning of a life long relationship. I am so HAPPY! Ohh and by the way, my wife bought a par of Maui Jim too....

Played 18 holes and then biked 15 miles and they are so lightweight you forget you're wearing them until you take them off. So clear and crisp you can follow your shots in the brightest sun. Best sunglasses that I've owned since my last pair of Maui Jims.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THESE ITEMS. HAD LASIC 10 YEARS AGO. THESE GLASSES PROTECT MY EYES IN THE MOST EXTREME CONDITIONS. NO TOUCH UPS YET. THE SAME GOES FOR MY DAUGHTER. I HAVE THREE PAIRS OF DIFFERENT ONES.

Stop right here. This will be the last pair of sunglasses you will buy (unless you break / lose them).

These sunglasses fit like a love on your face and you will instantly forget that they're even on your face! The polarization is stunning and you'll become so accustomed to these glasses that you will find it difficult to walk outside without them on.

The finish on the titanium is superb. The coatings and lens are amazing.

Do yourself a favor and get yourself a pair!

When I had to pay $70 for titanium to be put on the nose hinge and temples of my broken Moku's, I really balked, not thinking that I was getting new glasses! The Moku's problem was that they broke at the temples between the heat of Florida and the bending they get from being put on and taken off. My husband's broke at the nose hinge. The material on the temples was the same as the temple tips on these new Honolua Bay's--basically think a hard nylon--without any reinforcement. The Honolua Bays corrected this problem and then some! Ends up we got a great deal on the trade up as they are normally $100 more than the Moku's. And the peace of mind knowing that these won't break as titanium doesn't break is priceless! I just LOVE the clarity of the lenses that I often will continue wearing them well after dusk!

I have had my Honolua Bays for about two weeks now and they are by far the best sunglasses I have ever owned. They are so light and comfortable that if it wasn't for the enhanced color clarity I wouldn't even know I was wearing them. After owning these babies I wouldn't even consider buying another brand. I am going to have to buy another pair though because my wife keeps stealing them from me.

I purchased the Honolua Bay's to go to Iraq where the sun beats down quite hard! The clarity on these lenses is extremely superb. Sun is not an issue as I can stare deep into the desert, sun glaring without squinting. Its almost impossible to feel them on your face, theyre very lightweight. I have a hard case and the cloth case and only use the hard case when I pack them up for travel. They havent scratched yet and I only use lense spray and the soft cloth case for cleaning. I also own another pair of Maui Jim's for when I travel on helocopters, they provide a bit more coverage. Thank you Maui Jim for keeping my eyes safe and vision clear!
