I have been trying to save money for a while now. Went in tried these on and broke my streak. There awesome and I try to wear them every day.

I bought these last April and I love them. I sold sunglasses so I can tell you that these really do have the best lens clarity. They are a little pricey but well worth the money if you take care of them. I have the white/bronze lens pair and they are amazing. I own a pair of RB and Prada and these blow them away. They are a comfortable fit and great for bright sunny days or overcast days. Overall the bronze lens is very very versatile and I could not be happier. Go with Maui Jim you won't be sorry!

love these they are my go to sunglasses in the middle of the summer when the sun is supper bright. even though the temples are not thick the way the lens comes down to shade the sides of my eyes makes it nice . also love the bi-gradient lenses i hate squinting my eyes and love how it just calms things down not to mention for a heavy glass pair they are supper comfortable and can wear them all day !

I've been a sunglass diva for many, many years, many brands, and a wide range of "values". I'm a professional in the marine biz and off-shore in the tropics a lot.
Super sunglasses, fit my head like no other pair, best optics EVER. My only wish would be if these were to retail about 1/2 what they do...they'd be the ultimate solution.
But that being said, they are the BEST and I've had pairs more expensive that were 1/2 the optics!

As I stated above, these are simply the best sunglasses I've ever owned. My first pair of [decent] sunglasses were Oakley Frogskins (I was in 6th grade!!) and had been an Oakley customer/enthusiast ever since. That's 20 years of brand loyalty… Only Maui Jim could have tempted me to stray from that path.

I went to Sunglass Hut with my dad to replace a pair of Oakley's that had been stolen on a trip – they had just sold the exact pair I wanted 5 minutes before I walked in. My dad mentioned trying out Jim's as he loved his own pair. I found the Island Time's put 'em on, and man, I had never seen clarity and colors like i saw with them. Now, Oakley's aren't too shabby (polarized lenses of course), but Jim's blows them out of the water. And the fit was amazing as well – It was as if I wasn't wearing glasses at all. Incredible.

Because I was 5 minutes late to a store, I now am the proud owner and wearer of Maui Jim Island Time sunglasses. Stoked!

These glasses are by far the best that I have ever owned. Even better that the two previous pairs of Maui Jim glasses that I owned. I am a marine biologist and I spend a lot of time on fishing boats and even though I try to protect them as best I can my glasses get abused. Each year while at the Miami Boatshow I look for new designs and three years ago I bought these frames with bronze lenses and they are by far one of the best glasses/lenses for fishing. The frames fit much better than any others that I have ever owned. I have had to have the lenses replaced two times but it is my own fault. If only I could keep sinkers, lures and baits from swinging through the air and hitting the lenses. I can't imagine wearing anything other than Maui Jims. I love these sunglasses!

I love the root beer hcl/bronze. I own 3 pair of mj and will never own anything else . The Island Time are the best yet.

I bought the white/bronze pair and I'm extremely impressed with the crisp optics of the lenses. From flowers and beaches to mountains and glaciers and it's amazing how much brighter and vibrant colors are while wearing these glasses. While they're quite comfortable my one complaint is they don't stay on my face as well as I'd like. If I look down for any length of time (while working and moving) they start to wiggle their way off. Overall I love the style and enjoy wearing them, whether you're on Island Time or Alaska Time these glasses are a great choice.
