Best Sunglasses ever Purchased

These are ultra lightweight, excellent protection, and extremely comfortable, I love 'em. For someone who wears sunglasses from dawn to dusk, you can wear these with ease for hours because they are so light, excellent product. I was told they were a new style when I purchased them summer 09, however I see in another review that they are at least six years old? Regardless, an excellent product.

Great Glasses.
I have had them for several years.
The only issue I have is that almost every year I have to replace the lenses as they crack at the screw. Gone through 3 or 4 sets now.

Best Pair of Sunglasses Ever

This particular pair of sunglasses is, without doubt, the best pair of sunglasses I have ever owned or worn. They fit my face perfectly and are so light that I can't even tell I have them on.
The only problem I've ever had with them is that they have a pesky habit of breaking right in the nose. That being said, I must also compliment Maui Jim's repair service. They have an excellent turn around and the pair seemed just like new when i got them back.(Posted on 11/28/12)

prescription sun glasses

I purchased a pair of Maui Jim's about 3 years ago and my doctor sent them to you with my prescription. So far, bad luck. They, though no fault of my own, have broken twice! I was in Europe recently, put them on, and they snapped. Can't imagine why with general use this would happen to me. Hard for me to recommend them.

Great for Golf/Beach

Excellent pair of sunglasses with one exception. The right lens keeps cracking at the screw. This has happened three times in the five years I have owned them but to Maui Jim's credit, I keep sending them back for repair and they keep fixing them and sending them back to me! Great pair I wear whenever I play golf due to the lightweight frames. Love these sunglasses and the company's return policy!

I always struggled growing up trying to find a pair that would fit my face (one ear is lower than the other so my sunglasses were always crooked) and fit comfortably. I purchased my pair of Ka'anapali 501's about 8 years ago and I can honestly say they are one of the most favorite things I have ever purchased. Lightweight and comfortable , amazing clarity and visuals, etc.
8 years and they are solid as the day I bought them. Even last year, my wife dropped them and the lens got scratched - I was devastated. She sent them in for repairs and for $50 they replaced both lens, checked the rest of the frames and sent me back my repaired pair even with a new case.
