Neutral Grey: Perfect for especially bright, direct sunlight. Offers rich color and contrast along with the highest available light production, unlike ordinary grey lenses that flatten light evenly across the spectrum.
HCL® Bronze: For everyday variable conditions, from full sun to overcast. Provides excellent contrast. Great if you love a warm, subtle bronze tint.
PolarizedPlus®2: In every pair of Maui Jims you’ll find our patented, color-infused lens technology that wipes out 99.9% of glare, 100% of harmful UV and boosts color via specially designed lens treatments. So your view is clearer, with crisper contrast and amazing brilliance.
Polycarbonate: When durability and protection against shattering are the priority, choose a lens that stands up to your most intense activities. Scratch- and impact-resistant. Injection molded for crisp optics. With patented lens treatments that infuse your view with vivid color. Your lightest choice for long days in the sun.
CLEARSHELL® Scratch Coating: A proprietary, silicone-based hard coat that protects your lenses. One of the best gifts ever!
Review by: bye1960 -
My sister gave these to me for Christmas a couple years ago! (sweetest sister ever, right!) I know they are 'male' sunglasses, but I LOVE them! Absolutely the lightest sunglassed I have ever worn. The only thing I had to get used to was not putting them on top of my head when not wearing them, but I just had to break that habit. Very comfortable, don't even know I have them on except for the EXCELLENT protection they provide. Will definitely recommend.

Best Sunglasses I've owned
Review by: Virg -
The style and the optics are phenomenal. The customer support behind the products is great and replacement of warranty issues are handled without question. Knowing that support exists would never let me buy any other glasses than Maui Jim.

great for boating
Review by: KentuckyJim -
I bought these glasses 6-8 years ago and have never had any regrets. I sometimes forget I have them on because they are so light and comfortable. I am a boater and I love the fact that I never have to worry about them flying off my face while driving my boat at any speed.

Love Maui Jim!
Review by: BeachBaby -
My husband and I each own 3 pairs of Maui Jims and we LOVE THEM!
I bought these glasses with Rose lenses in Oct 2002. The lenses have cracked twice at the bridge, the tip popped off the end of one arm, the nose pads were replaced and, most recently, the bridge broke completely on one side. Every time, Maui Jim promptly repaired the glasses. I love the glasses because they are so light you barely know you are wearing glasses and so secure that I can play tennis without fear of the glasses falling off. As much as I love them, with all the problems, I hv to give them only 4 stars.
THANK YOU MAUI JIM! WE LOVE YOU!(Posted on 11/28/12)

I own 2 pair of these and after 12 to 18 months both developed cracks in the lens where the frames attached. Great glasses otherwise. Just bought a pair of "Pilots" and hope I will have a better result.

Good Golly Miss Molly!!
Review by: coloneldan -
I bought my Ka'anapali's in 2004. I bought them because several friends highly recommended them. It almost killed me to pay $249.00 for a pair of sunglasses. (The price then.) It turned out to be one of the top ten purchases I have ever made. I absolutely LOVE these things. They are so light and comfortable, and block so much bright light, I occasionally have to reach up and touch them to see if I remembered to put them on.
I have had some experience with several other brands of sunglasses that have plastic lenses. They all scratch very easily. I have dropped these things in parking lots, on gravel roads, in the bottom of kayaks....I even dropped them in a trout stream once and the lenses are still perfect.
I am a professional pilot. Polarized lenses don't work well in modern cocpits due to all the CRT screens. If Maui Jim made Ka'napali's in non-polarized I would never own another pair of sunglasses.(Posted on 11/28/12)

Best sunglasses but small defect
Review by: fflores2809 -
I bought my first pair in 2001. Quality of the lens is superb but they broke where the leg is attached to the lens (after 2 years). I sent them to be repaired and broke again (2 years later). Then I sent them again for repair and ended up buying a replacement pair for much less than the MSRP. This last pair has lasted ever since, although they are cracked again where the nose bridge attaches to the lens. I am afraid they will brake soon. I wish they could make this better. Lens quality is excellent

Kaanapali and Kapalua
Review by: Leadhead -
I bought two pairs in BVI,s the lenses are superb and second to none especially around water. The glare is reduced brilliantly, and they are so light they are almost unnoticeable, and very comfortable. However both pairs developed cracks around the screw connections to the lenses after only 18 months of very careful wear and handling. Again on the plus side ,they were sent in to the sevice department in the U.K. repaired and mailed back to me all in three days! Well Done Service U.K.
