i have two pairs of these,,one in rose and one in grey. i love these glasses! comfortable, clear and unbeatable for driving. Great on the water too.

I am a professional photographer for going on 25 years and live in central Texas.I do not step out of the house without my Maui Jim 501s.(Ask my Wife)!These are all around the best glasses to wear, so light and lots of style.
Most important is the great protection for my eyes in the Texas sun.
After owning these glasses for almost two years I managed to break the frame. I sent them in with a check for $10 and after about two weeks, I am now wearing a new pair of Maui 501s . Fantastic Company!

I had the same problem frequently noted on these reviews, my Ka'anapalis broke at the nose bridge after about 6 months of wear. 2 things to remember: with the number of mentions of this problem here, you can be sure that MJ is already working on a design revision to strengthen these. Second, as many people have mentioned, MJ's service is quick and easy to deal with. HOWEVER, because Maui Jim has an awesome retailer partner in Sunglass Hut, they made sure I was taken care of before I had to go through MJ. It's clear their customers are priority #1, because they replaced mine on the spot. That being said, I am someone who DOES NOT step out of the house without sunglasses, and have owned dozens of pairs of Smiths, Nikes, Ray Bans, Revos, and mostly Oakleys over the years. None of them even come close. Not in style, not in fit and finish, not in comfot, and not even close in optical quality. If you're serious about good sun protection, Maui Jim is the ONLY way to go! And buy them from Sunglass Hut...they take VERY good care of their customers!

I purchased these glasses over 4 years ago for their lightweight portability. I am a pilot and they fit under my headsets when I fly like they aren't even there. Eventually, through extensive use, one of the temples broke. No problem though. I simply sent them in for a quick fix by MJ and now I have my beloved titanium Ka'anapali's back. The glasses are incredible, and the service is even better! Thanks Maui Jim, you kept a loyal customer loyal.

These are the best. They are comfortable and look great. I really like the light weight frames. I play a good deal of golf and love the fact that I can wear them and get a really sharp view of the greans. You can even see the bend in the grass when I am putting on the greens.

I have recommended these to my freinds and family and they love them too.

Had my Ka'anapali glasses since 2003, I won't wear anything else. Excellent feel, lightweight, comfortable, lens are very clear. I dropped them one time and scratched the lens, sent back to get a new lens, received them a week later. Thank you for my lifetime sunglasses.

I paid over $200 for a pair of sunglasses that should have lasted more than the 2 year warranty. The lense cracked...and I am very careful with my Maui's. I would not recomend paying 2X the cost of other Maui or Oakleys for this model

Bought my Ka'anapali 501 Titanium's in 2005 after a friend recommended Maui Jim. I had owned 3 pair of Oakley's in the past, but I'll never own anything but Maui Jim, now. They are the lightest, clearest vision sunglasses I've ever owned.....Plus the Customer Service at MJ is phenomenal.
After 3 years of wear and tear, the lens broke where the nose bridge connects to the glass. Not unexpected, just impressed they lasted as long as they did, considering I do everything outside in them.....bike riding, golf, hiking, camping, fishing/boating, beach, etc. At the time, I did not know MJ would repair them at a very reasonable price. So, I started shopping for a cheap pair of sunglasses until I could afford to buy new MJ's. Then I discovered MJ values their customers so much they will repair the glasses for much less than I could buy a cheap pair. Now, I've broken them again and MJ will once again repair them for the low, low price of $60.
You can't beat a deal like this!

..the world looks better through Maui Jims. Period. I was introduced to them in California in the mid 90s as a great way to see through reflections in a pool at what was under the water... LOL! Learned about the lens science years later.

Now on my second pair of Ka'anapalis. Unbelievably light weight and incredible strong. After years of amassing sunnies as fashion accessories, one pair of MJs has displaced them all. Used, abused and worn them all over the world. Simply peerless.

The barely there feeling is so amazing.

I love these glasses for everything I do, except sports or outdoor rigorous activities. The nose pads slide terribly when I'm sweating and they fly off my face if I turn my head too fast.

For casual activities and especially driving, these glasses are a dream! They wrap so beautifully around the head and face. Wonderful.
