Gone through many sunglasses in 40+ years but these have been the finest, just with I would stop leaving them somewhere, forgetting to pick them up..Regardless of the cost, always replace with Kahunas

I originally bought my Kahunas about 12 years ago. My wife looked at me a bit sideways whe she learned how expensive they were, but 12 years (and about 20 pair of sunglasses for her) later, she sees the value. About four years ago, one of the lenses fell out, and so I sent them in for repair. After seeing the effect of 8+ year use at the time, Maui Jim sent me a new pair for free! Unfortunately, my car was broken into last week, and while the guy left my wallet and credit cards, he stole my Maui Jims. So here I am ordering another pair...

The Kahunas were my first Mauis, and the only pair of sunglasses I've ever replaced with an identical pair after losing them. I bought my first pair around 10 years ago (maybe longer) when Maui Jim was first starting to show up in my area. Though they are heavy (mine pre-date the ST lenses) I still wear them quite frequently, and they were my sunglasses of choice during my African Safari several years ago.

I was given these glasses as a friend. I use them while riding my motorcycle. All other polarized glasses created a distortion while looking through the motorcycle windscreen, not these. Also, thanks for glass and not an acrylic..Vantastic!!! Well worth the money...I hope I don't lose them.

I received the "Kahuna's" as a birthday gift and didn't like them. Then I put them on and fell in love with them. All my other sunglasses became obsolete. I have had them repaired twice and will continue to when I break them because I use them. No others compare to craftmanship and quality. I will keep them forever! It's been 10 great year's since I first put them on and it's been a pleasure. Thanks Maui Jim!

What can I say that thirteen pages of five star reviews doesn't already say? My story is basically that I have spent thousands of dollars on just about every type of fine eye wear over the years and they're all MIA now, all except my Kahuna Maui Jims. Mine have the bronze tint, I purchased them almost a decade ago and have worn my Kahunas exclusively since 2005 every single day. For me they are simply the best that there is available in eye wear.

It must be said also that the durability is unbelievable, in all this time mine have still never been in once for any repairs. They have been lost, dropped, and the lenses popped out more times than I can count and they've never broken once. I will buy another pair as soon as they finally do become unrepairable but I doubt it will be anytime soon. They are worth every penny, thanks MJ!

I love Apple products because a lot of effort is put into every detail. It is even a delight taking the product out of the box. At first I complained about the size of glasses' case - too big - too clumsy. While putting our bags in the trunk of a rented car I had my hands full and put the case with the glasses in it on the side of the trunk. After struggling with the bags I closed the trunk, only it didn't lached as if we had too much luggage. Since we had, I sat on the trunk to close it, it didn't. I forgot about my glases. When I realized this I thought, well I'll go back to the store and get me a new pair. The case hinge didn't spring to position but the glases were intact! :-) The car... well I wasn't able to close the trunk. I had to go to a shop to bend the trunk back to be able to close it again.

Cause if you do you'll understand what all the hype is about.
I drive to work,I drive for a living and I drive home from work.I never seem to take these off,even on cloudy days! I wear Rx progressive lens and the fit was perfect from day one.These are so good I bought a second pair KAPENA-207 can't wait to get them.Thanks MJ your the BEST!
