I can not be outside without shades on...my light eyes are sensitive. I bought my Kahunas over 12 years ago and they were my first pair of MJs. They are exceptional glasses. Lense quality, fit, durability and style are all top shelf. I have since bought two more pairs of MJs and will never buy glasses from another manufacturer. Period.

But to add to my loyalty to this brand, I was treated to exceptional customer service within the last month. One lense fell out of the glasses when the frame screw loosened, fell to the concrete and broke. I sent the glasses in, included a credit card number to cover the cost of new lenses and noted that the glasses were over 12 years old. I got a brand new pair in return at NO CHARGE within two weeks. Imagine my surprise.

I've been brand loyal to Maui Jim for twelve years and will be until they bury me wearing my MJ sunglasses. The value delivered is the key. You pay a lot, but get exponentially more.

Buyers should note that this model is heavier than many others offered, but is very sturdy. It does fit someone with a larger face/head better. That is why I purchased them in the first place. They look great.

I had my Maui Jim's for about a year. I am lost without wearing them as I travel all over the country and most of the time I am outdoors. I recently broke my glasses, bent the frame and popped out the lens. The repair process from the Customer Service Department is outstanding. I returned the glasses, they called me up when they were recieved , sent me new lenses, fixed the frame. "I think they replaced my frame, they looked new. all for the price of a shipping charge. I would have paid $100 for the professional service and quick response they gave me. They get the meaning of Customer Service. With that kind of service you will always have me as a customer. Thank You.

I wear these all the time. At the beach, bike riding, and even playing tennis. They are very comfortable and look great.

I have worn Maui Jim's for the past 12 years, my first pair lasted 10 years until they just plain wore out. I tried to have them repaired but parts were not available from the factory. However, being a top-notch outfit, Maui Jim gave me a credit towards a new pair. I bought the Kahuna's and I love them too! No glare, awesome fit and everyone loves them...how can you beat that! Maui Jim...keep up the good work...you are # 1 in my book.

I needed a pair of prescription sunnies for driving. I am a professional photographer and guide, taking clients on photo safaris through New Zealand. This means that I spend about 3 months a year in my Land Cruiser!

My MJ's are a essential bit of my kit that I love and highly recommend!

This sun glasses are very stylish, they grip to the head very well, colors look much better while driving or at the comfort of my home, also this sun glass protects the eyes by not letting in the sun light strike your eyes from the side, I've had also noticed a great relief related to eye stress and headaches while driving 5hrs daily due to my job, on our sunny days here at the Caribbean. I would recommend Maui to my friends.

After a 1.5yr of usage, the polarization started to separate from the glass. It started from the borders and finally a thin straight line appeared from side to side affecting my visibility, it is just right in middle of the left lens. Ill be sending them back for repair.

I have just recently purchased the MAUI JIM / 162-02 KAHUNA pair of sunglasses and I must say MAUI JIM, you are the "KAHUNA" :)

I can only say to anyone who is looking for everything in a pair of sunglasses, then I urge you to visit a MAUI JIM dealer and "see" for yourself (no pun intended) haha!

You all have heard the saying "you get what you pay for" well, this is definitely true with MAUI JIM sunglasses. I can pretty much guarantee you won't own another pair after experiencing this line of product. :)

I had an accident where one of my pupils is permanently dialated. Being outside during the day can be very hard on my eyes and these are the only glasses I have found that allow me do be outside without hurting my eyes.

I have used these for everything from golf to snowmobiling and they are the most durable glasses I have ever owned.

If I'd been smart and bought these years ago, maybe cataract surgery would have been avoided. I'm a professional Landscape Photographer in Colorado and the high altitude, thinner air exacerbates the suns' damaging rays. Didn't want to spend the money when I could buy a $30 dollar pair. I'll never make that mistake again. I went to great lengths to protect my expensive Camera Lenses, but not my eyes. I can now think of more appropriate adjectives starting with STUPID!

Having owned and tried many pairs of sunglasses, Maui Jim has made me decide never to convert to any other brand again. The color brilliance produced by the lenses of my Maui Jims are unmatched by anything I've seen on the market today. Whenever others try on my Jims, they are shocked at how impressive environmental colors display. The last pair of sunglasses I will ever need! Thank you Maui Jim.
