I love these sunglasses. By far the best ones I have ever bought. The quality of the glass lenses and the polarization exceeded my expectations even though i already own a few pair of other polarized glasses. In the NW it is overcast and rainy a lot of times and these glasses are perfect for the weather and light change. You can still wear them even when you go from the outside to the inside without it being to dark. They look very stylish and can easily be used for business wear. The quality is exceptional. No need to buy some overpriced designer glasses, i did that too. Save your money and check out Maui Jim first!

Being blessed/cursed with excellent eyesight I can't handle any optical flaws & these have none. Best lenses I have ever looked through & I have owned them all. Only complaint is that the monel frames get corroded from sweat, leaving nasty black marks on your face. I work in aviation and wish Maui would put their glass lens in a hingeless titanium frame.

I purchased these glasses (Kahuna) roughly five years ago. They haven't been around the world with me, but close to it. They have proven to be incredibly durable, showing absolutely no signs of any wear whatsoever at all.

I've never found a pair of sunglasses that shield my eyes completely without looking like a pair of goggles except for these and I can't speak highly enough of them.

I'm an extremely frugal person and it took a lot for me to drop nearly $300 on these, but with hindsight, it truly was a tremendous value.

These glasses allow my eyes to completely relax in even the brightest light. From logging to fly fishing to skiing to driving down the road, these glasses have been one of the best purchases of my life. I love them enough that I could sell them.

Optics are superior as are the looks and comfort. I have other quality sunglasses but none better than the Kahuna 162. Best for reading in bright sunlight at the beach than any of my other sunglasses.

I have owned these glasses for around 6 years. They are, and will always be my favorite pair of sunglasses. Chrystal clear lenses, tough, and built to last. The glass lenses (must have unless using the glasses for sports) are perfectly made and offer spectacular clarity.
The glasses are a little heavier than newer models, but I like that. They have a classic shape and timeless design. Great glasses.

I purchased the Kahuna 162 Gunmetal/Natural Grey with Maui Rose Lense. All I can say about these Mauis is that they are amazing. As a production soundmixer I spend a lot of time outdoors getting beaten by the sun; The Kahunas give me the protection and clarity that I need, wether it be blistering hot and bright or overcast; With the Rose Lenses I never fall victim to the eye strain and fatigue commonly felt by wearing cheaper gloomy grey hard to see through plastic, and the polarization of the lenses reduce glare fantaaaasticallllly. I highly recommend the Kahuna...and they look cool too.

I can not be outside without shades on...my light eyes are sensitive. I bought my Kahunas over 12 years ago and they were my first pair of MJs. They are exceptional glasses. Lense quality, fit, durability and style are all top shelf. I have since bought two more pairs of MJs and will never buy glasses from another manufacturer. Period.

But to add to my loyalty to this brand, I was treated to exceptional customer service within the last month. One lense fell out of the glasses when the frame screw loosened, fell to the concrete and broke. I sent the glasses in, included a credit card number to cover the cost of new lenses and noted that the glasses were over 12 years old. I got a brand new pair in return at NO CHARGE within two weeks. Imagine my surprise.

I've been brand loyal to Maui Jim for twelve years and will be until they bury me wearing my MJ sunglasses. The value delivered is the key. You pay a lot, but get exponentially more.

Buyers should note that this model is heavier than many others offered, but is very sturdy. It does fit someone with a larger face/head better. That is why I purchased them in the first place. They look great.

I had my Maui Jim's for about a year. I am lost without wearing them as I travel all over the country and most of the time I am outdoors. I recently broke my glasses, bent the frame and popped out the lens. The repair process from the Customer Service Department is outstanding. I returned the glasses, they called me up when they were recieved , sent me new lenses, fixed the frame. "I think they replaced my frame, they looked new. all for the price of a shipping charge. I would have paid $100 for the professional service and quick response they gave me. They get the meaning of Customer Service. With that kind of service you will always have me as a customer. Thank You.

I have worn Maui Jim's for the past 12 years, my first pair lasted 10 years until they just plain wore out. I tried to have them repaired but parts were not available from the factory. However, being a top-notch outfit, Maui Jim gave me a credit towards a new pair. I bought the Kahuna's and I love them too! No glare, awesome fit and everyone loves them...how can you beat that! Maui Jim...keep up the good work...you are # 1 in my book.
