The best I ever had
Review by: Stepper -
Durability Style Value Fit I have owned them for about eight years. These were a replacement for a lost/stolen pair. After wearing them in peak summer at Ft Lauderdale beach I was hooked. I must say that I am a rough and tough guy and for the most part they have stood up. I have had to get a broken nose bridge fixed once. The customer service is superb.
I appreciate a company that stands behind their name. Just got a pair of Lighthouse for the wife... she now relates to what I have been saying all along(Posted on 4/23/13)

can't wear sunglasses
Review by: Justin H -
Fit Durability Style Value I could never wear sunglasses for long due to headaches before I got these. They are so light! Ive had these for 5-6 years-longest I've ever had a pair. They finally broke due to my mistake. Will buy another pair, maybe different style.

Love the glasses but they crack too esaily
Review by: MLouie -
Style Value Fit Durability I have had these glasses for years, but I have had to have them repaired a number of times because no matter how careful I am with them, the lenses eventually crack where the bridge attaches. Other than that, they are awesome.

great, take care of them
Review by: wendelz -
Value Fit Durability Style I was a die hard Serengeti fan, but couldn't get them the last time I broke a pair. The clerk at the Sunglass Hut prompted me to try a pair of Maui Jim's and I was hooked when I tried them on. So light and I wasn't pushing them up my nose constantly. They stayed in place!! If you are an athlete or sweat, you need these shades as they wont be sliding down your nose all the time. I have sent them in for repair and gotten them back so quickly. I do think they are a bit spendy, but I have taken good care of them for 10 years and feel that I have more than gotten my moneys worth. Yes, you need both hands to put them on, but once on, you will see the difference. You won't be disappointed.

Great Service
Review by: Monika -
Style Value Fit Durability I love Maui Jim glasses for several reasons. Just had to have a
pair replaced, no hassel, talked to a live person, prompt service.
What more could you ask for. The durability of their glasses is
great, but the pair I own, are very flexible (Kapalua) and thin.
Although I take very good care of them, they did break, but still under warranty. My second pair of Maui's that I own. Had to have a glass lense replaced in that pair years ago, no hassel, prompt service & again a live person to talk to. GREAT! I love my Kapalua's because they are so light on the bridge of my nose when driving long distances.(Posted on 1/12/13)

Gest Glasses
Review by: GCP -
Fit Durability Style Value I have had a number of glasses along the way. I picked these up on a golf trip to FLA in 2006. They are the lightest , clearest, and crispest glasses I have ever had. Ideal for golf or any sport as they stay on and you for get you are wearing them. Yet, the view the afford is ideal. Finally in 2012 after years of on and off and on and off, the bridge broke. The sent them in knowing they were out of warranty, but also knowing they were worth the repair. They called me the day the arrived, explained the costs and gave an eval of the overall condition. For a fair price they fixed them up like new and had them in the mail back to me... that night. So it's not just the product, or the service before the sale, it's their service after. Compare that to Ray Bans I had repaired that took 2 months to get back and cost more to repair. That sealed my future with Maui Jim. In fact, my wife surprised me at Christmas with a pair of the new Maui Pure Olawalus I had been checking out. So now I am set for life!

My number one tool
Review by: michaelg -
I am a professional house painter and your glasses are the first thing i grab as i leave for work. They are fantastic in the car, an ideal and restful pair of driving glasses, but is at work where they come into their own. They perfectly cut all they glare of the job yet still allow me to see my work, even in low light. As a bonus they stay rock solid and featherlight on my head no matter what angle I may be working on. They take a pounding at work yet they still last for years. All this and they allow me to spot fish on the weekends. I love em. M

very nice and light weight
Review by: gbear -
I have had these sunglasses for over two years and I love them, they are very light and comfortable you don't even know you are wearing them. They do a great job of blocking out the harmful sun rays while enhancing the colors of everything. The only reason I am not giving them a five star rating is I noticed small cracks in the lenses were they are connected at the bridge, I don't think this should happen for as much as they cost. I will be sending them back to be repaired, at my cost since they are past the warranty. I will provide feedback on their repair service when I get them back.

Great for sports

These are extremely lightweight and durable. They look fantastic too. Only drawback is you need two hands to put them on. But once they're on...they're on. Great sunglasses!
