For the price, when you baby the glasses, they should last longer than 3 years before they break in half from regular, routine use. The Titanium 502 model must always stretch to fit around a normal head. This constant flexing of the metal weakens it and eventually breaks.

The lenses are fantastic, the frame which holds it all together is not.

I would like to see a more durable frame in the same lightweight setup.

The rating of Fair takes into consideration the price which raises the expectation of any product.

On the advice of my awesome optician, I bought a pair of these Maui Jims. They are so light and I love the fact that they can't get messed up like traditional sunglasses. They look so good on and they are very comfortable to wear. This is the most I have ever spent on a pair of sunglasses, but they were soooo worth the price. I highly recommend these if you are looking for a great looking pair and you are willing to spend the money to get that premium pair.

I love these glasses but beware once you go with these lightweight glasses all other glasses will feel clunky and heavy! Even in Seattle I wear these all the time...Perfect. Perfect. Perfect.

At first I couldn't see good and had distance and reading proscription and wasn't happy. They found the problem and did them over with just the distance with a new digital machine and they came out perfect. I am very happy with my investment. prescription will cost twic the cost of glasses but well worht it whne you have to drive 10 hours with the sun shining on your eyes. No glare and no tearing of eyes from squinting for 10 hours with good perrifferial vision. Thank you Maui Jim for solving my problem!

I love my Maui Jims. I own two pair of these, so I am never with out one. My wife has two different pair and she loves hers too. Great service after the sale also. Do not hestitate to buy the best as you will always be happy with it.

I have bad sinus problems. I cannot stand pressure on my nose. These glasses are without a doubt the best I have ever owned. They are super light and do not push on my temples. I bought them eight years ago and they are the one thing that I never let out of my sight. They are great for cutting out the sun glare. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I am kind of rough on them and have had the lenses replaced 3 times. Each time I couldn't stand not wearing them and they came back from MJ repair facility pronto and just like new.

What you can never guage when deciding to purchase a product is whether all the hoopla attached to their "service after the sale" is fact or hot air. I own 3 pair of Maui Jims and have broken 2 of them TWICE (my fault). Each time they repair them quickly and professionally and return them promptly. I just received my last pair with a LESS THAN 2 week turnaround (I was stressing an upcoming cruise without my favorite Maui's). I have owned these glasses for years and the repair is flawless!! Incidentally, for whatever reason (I'm thinking they verified I'm a multiple owner) I was NOT charged for the repair!! THANK YOU Maui Jim, you ROCK!!

I was first introduced to these sunglasses on the Island of Maui when on a vacation with my family and friends in 2001. From that point on, these are the only glasses that I will spend my money on as they are truly worth every penny. I am very active in my day to day life and my Maui Jim's are light weight, comfortable and enhance the colors around me like no other pair or brand I have ever tried on. Thank you Maui Jim!!!

I bought these glasses about 3 years ago. In addition to these glasses, I had a pair of Costa del Mars, 2 pairs of Oakleys, and a pair of Ray Bans. 2 weeks ago, my truck was broken into, and all the glasses were stolen except for the most expensive pair, the Maui Jims. I think the great thing about this brand is that it's not as well known, but by no means does that mean they are inferior. The Mauis have always been my favorite glasses, and I truly would have been heartbroken if they were stolen. They're much more comfortable than my Costas and cut the glare much better, and honestly, Oakleys don't stand up to either Costas or Mauis. I do plan to buy another pair of sunglasses for more active wear, but I won't seriously consider anything other than Maui Jim.
