I have owned the Kapaluas for approximately 2 years. They are lightweight, comfortable, and very secure on your face. You can look down into water without a safety strap. More importantly, MJ provides remarkable customer service. My glasses recently developed a stress crack in the lens near the mounting screw. I filled out the simple online repair form and sent them to MJ. They promptly replaced the lens and returned the glasses with a new MJ case. The only cost to me was the $10 processing fee.

Absolutely love these glasses and this company. I broke my glasses a few weeks ago and needed them repaired...sent them in and got them repaired for free. In addition, they repaired and sent them back very fast, within a week of sending them out. I am very impressed not only with the quality of my sunglasses but the awesome customer service Maui Jim has to offer! Thank you. I would recommend my sunglasses or any Maui Jim product, as this is a fantastic company with great quality products!

Absolutely the best pair I've ever owned. Working on my 3rd pair. Found first pair @ Champs Sports for $70 and had no idea what I had til several yrs later. Need to start sending in for repairs rather than buying new ones lol.....

I am a long time fan of Maui Jim sunglasses and own several pair. This is my 2nd pair of Kapalua's. The first pair survived 9 years of water sports both on Maui and the mainland. My mom accidentally sat on them, and flattened them on a metal bench. They DIDN'T break, so we took them to the Maui Jim location on Wainee St. where to our amazement they adjusted them back to their original shape and I walked out wearing them. Years later they did lose a match with my young lab puppy who decided they looked good enough to eat.

I would recommend any of their glasses to anyone, with any type of lifestyle, who loves the outdoors. They truly bring out the vibrant colors all around us, completely eliminate glare, thus protecting our eyes, and they are by far the most comfortable glasses I've ever owned.

i am so bummed, i am a huge fan of maui jims and usually keep them for around 10 years or more, and these were my favorite, as we were boating at lake powell we stopped to use the rest room and to see rainbow bridge, and in doing so i put my glasses on my head over my hat, when we started to leave i thought i should take my hat off my head so as not to lose it, in doing so i had forgot the glasses were on my head and they tumbled off my head and in the water, I immediately jumped off the boat trying to save them and then realized that i had gone down to far with out a breath and had to turn around for air as they sank 40 feet down. needless to say I am heart broken and my eyes hurt the rest of the trip, my brother had some cheap sunglasses that i wore which only made me feel worse , once you have glasses like these and dont need to squint its hard to wear anything else. I am now counting the days until I can afford to buy a new pair, cant go wrong with maui jims.

The Kapalua are a great pair of glasses. I have at times forgot that I was wearing my glasses and went looking for them. My glasses finally broke so I contacted MJ the next day (10/3/12) and sent them out the same day. Received my glasses back on 10/6/12!!! Talk about customer service!!! I will gladly tell people to buy MJ.
