I have worn the Rose colored Kapalua for about 4-5 years, and these are my favorite sunglasses. They are so comfortable, I can't even feel them once they are on. They hug my face and NEVER slip. I also have a pair in the grey, but I really don't like the grey as much, the contrast is much better with the rose or bronze. Having had lasik surgery, my eyes are very sensitive, and I need as much contrast boost as I can get. These do it for me. The only thing that is the slightest nit is that wearing these outside in bright sunlight, they are probably not as dark as I should really have, and since they aren't really a shield, there is pretty significant light leakage over the top of the lenses. But, I don't let that stop me from wearing them, except when I'm around the pool, then I put on some ultra dark wraps that block all the light. Just broke the bridge on them today so I will definiitely pay for the repair!

This is my third pair of Maui Jims over the last 10 years. By far the best pair i've ever owned. Light weight and clearest lens ever!!!!

Living in the SW and at a mile high requires a serious pair of sunglasses year round... I got my first pair as a gift and finally realized why people hand over the cash they do for a pair of sunglasses. I normally go thru a set a glasses every couple months however these have held up amazingly enduring nearly 2 years of absolute torture! They are a perfect fit, I hardly notice I m wearing them and when I don't need them they rap around my neck so I don't leave them behind. For all the abuse that I have put these things thru the lenses are still in amazing shape - I've even sat on them a few times and they bend right back into shape!! When someone tries them on they really can't believe the difference between the polarized lenses on these as compared to their mall kiosk glasses. I wear these things everywhere  in the car, golfing, in the water, riding the motorcycle& Saweet Shades!

My first MJs. I like the fit, the lens optical quality and the light weight. Despite how they are portrayed on the MJ website ("really active"), these glasses are very fragile. I returned them for repairs three times in one year for cracked lenses at the nose bridge, and in the end, did not want them back. IMHO, not worth the money to buy or the inconvenience of shipping them in for multiple repairs. Excellent optical quality lenses, but too prone to cracking. I suggest you pass on these.

These are the lightest and clearest sunglasses I've owned. However, I also went through 2 pairs in 3 years. They both broke at the bridge between the lens. I kept them in the hard case they came in and never played sports with them. the metal stress comes from merely opening the frame and putting the glasses on. I am not sure wheat can be done since they are out of warranty. I just can't afford to go through $275 sunglasses like this so I bought a pair of Oakleys hoping they would last a few more years.

When you put these on, it's like putting on your favourite clothes...THEY JUST FIT TO A TEE! And the lenses, they're just comfort to the eyes...after you buy one pair, there's no need to look elsewhere...MAUI JIM's are the way to go!! Thanx for a super product! :)

I have owned this pair for several years and I like them a lot. They are SUPER lightweight and you can barely tell you have them on. The lenses are not as dark as some models, but stil offer sufficient protection and block glare. If you like a really dark lens, you might want a different pair.
The frame on this pair has a weakness. When not wearing the glasses, they fold into themselves and hook into the nose piece. Unfortunately, the frame can only take so much of this bending, and the can snap at the bridge.

Overall, a nice pair of glasses for almost any use.

These are very confortable fitting glasses, very light. The only negative to this style is have to use both hand to take on and off. If you are out for the day tho it is well worth it -due to confort!! I own this style along with other styles of Maui Jims and would not ever consider purchasing a different brand. The glare is gone with Maui Jims - like no other sunglass on the market. My eyes are very sensitive to sunlight but Maui Jims keep me in total confort!! I think for the confort tho you need to try on the glasses yourself due to different styles and face shapes before purchasing! If you are not satified with Maui Jims it is because you do not have the correct fit or style!!With the Correct fit YOU CAN'T GO WRONG!!!!

The Kapalua sunglasses are the best sunglasses I have ever owned. I particularily like their lightweight, and their style. Eye protection is excellent; glare is virtually gone, even when reflected directly off the rear windshield of the car you may be following. Great sunglasses.

I totally love my MJ's, they are great in all types of weather, they are lightweight and stylish! Sometimes you even forget you have them on!
