I chose these sunglasses... and loved them- except they are larger and tend to accumulated oils from fingers of just barely touching them... Never have dropped them.. but they developed a slight crack above the nose piece in less than 3 mo.... can only be caused from wearing them on my head... REALLY disappointed now!

I received this pair two years ago mothers day and purchased another pair for my own mother last year on mothers day. Spending this mothers day weekend at the beach, I noticed my 1yr old (first time at the beach) appearing a more "pink" shade on her arms. I took my glasses off and could not see the color change!
Am even more in LOVE with these now and so thankful I can be even more proactive then the every 30 min. Recommendation to reapply!! Thank you MJ; one less worry for a mom!!

I purchased these glasses a little over a year ago but after having them for about 4 months noticed a crack froming on the glass between the nose . But was'nt to worried I love these glasses but a few weeks ago the crack went all the way through and fell off my face so bummed . I asked someone what i should do they said call maui jim they have the best customer service so i did and hopefully I will recieve my glasses back good as new I was so excited to hear them tell me to just mail them in so they could check them out and that i have a two year warrenty cant beat that . Cant wait if all goes well with this I would gladly recommend these glasses to anyone they are alittle pricey but hey 2 year warrenty who can beat that thanks maui jim !!!I love maui jim glasses and will continue to buy them.

These are my second pair of Maui Jim sunglasses, and I will never buy another brand. These sunglasses have no spots at the side for the sun to get through and offer maximum eye comfort, not to mention they look hot!! Another great note, my daughter stepped on these and the shield was broken in 2, I sent them in for repair and had them back within a week and a half, with a very reasonable bill. Maui Jim is #1 in style, comfort, protection and customer service :)

These glasses look great and hold up very well. They are sleek, stylish, and do a good job of blocking out the sun. Unless you get an attachment strap, I probably wouldn't recommend them for sports only because while they're loose comfortable fitting is a plus, they might fall off while overly active. I have a different pair of Maui Jims from their sports line for that purpose.

Anyway, I was totally bummed when after a couple years a crack started to form in the lens - probably due to abuse from one of my kids. I called Maui Jim customer service and no longer had my receipt. I paid very little to ship them back, and less then 2 weeks later, they sent me a brand new replacement pair along with a nice new case! Yes you heard me right - a brand new pair!! On a different occasion, I called them when I lost the nose piece from another pair of expensive Maui Jims I own, and they shipped me the piece right away free of charge - no questions asked. They truly stand behind their product. Amazing glasses, and unbeatable customer service.

This is my second pair of Maui Jim sunglasses in a week. I previously purchased Sandy Beach. The Kula is attractive, works so well in blocking direct sunlight and is light weight and fashionable. I am extremely pleased and would buy from this company again- although not this week. LOL

I absolutely love the way this sunglass looks on. I have them in Copper and they are very glam! I wanted a pair that wrapped around my face a bit, but didn't look masculine. And these hit the nail on the head. These sunglasses are much lighter then they look. They actually feel a bit fragile, so at first I was worried about how they would hold up to everyday wear. But I've had mine for over a year and they still look and fit like they were brand new.

These glasses are beautiful, and frame the face perfectly. They are lightweight and provide amazing coverage for those sunny days. Fantastic for reading, running, travel and beachwear alike.

The only downside is that in comparison to my other Maui Jims, I have had two pairs of Kulas simply crack right down the middle of their lens. It was only a year and a half of wearing them, but I think it may be due to the lack of frame. Nonetheless, I will continue to buy and love my Kulas, they are really just that good.

I've had these sunglasses for two years, and during that time I've broken them twice. If you are very nice to sunglasses in general, these are for you. When they are whole, they are lightweight, easy on the eyes, and cover the face nicely. I love the Maui Rose lenses - they are great for people who are prone to headaches. I do not recommend these for people who are active in sports, but for basic driving they are a dream.

For people who are rough on sunglasses (like me), these are not for you. The middle portion of the lens cracks VERY easily. The first time, it cracked after falling off my head into a carpeted floor (I"m only 5'5'', so not very far to fall). The second, it was between a sweatshirt in my bag. The lens tends to start to crack on the upper ridge, and then breaks in two very soon thereafter. They are reaching their price in repairs (at $70 a pop, it adds up), and as soon as I find a pair of shield sunglasses that are better constructed but with a similar lens, I'm trading these in.
