Nose area CRACKS!!

With limited use, these glasses crack around the nose bridge. This is after two months, and about ten uses, two cleanings.

Nose area cracking

Wrote a review on my first day of ownership about 7 weeks ago raving about these glasses. I still love them despite the huge crack and many mini fractures above the nose area. During the past week, the lens area above my nose has been cracking in 2 different spots. Yesterday, all of the cracks fused together and made one huge crack right down the middle. Plan to replace and try again.

These were a gift. Love my other 2 pair of Maui Jims.. These fit too close to my eye lashes and eye brows so they are always messy. Also just this week the screw fell out of the lense so hassle to send those in and get them fixed. I hate hassles.

Love the Color and Shape

The Kula - Bronze looks great on anyone with a round or oval face as well as brunettes and blonds. These glasses are great for driving in both sunny and hazy conditions. I have found on occasion the arms may dig into the back of my ears and the lens seems to crack easily. Even with these two issues I love the glasses.

Fashion Statement

This is my 6th pair of Maui Jim sunglasses and certainly the most fashionable. As far as the price point - compared to any designer that produces polarized lenses (i.e. Prada, Tiffany) these are far more superior in every manner. I recommend this style to anyone with a round face - my only complaint (although minor) is they are not easy to clean perhaps due to the lens size and structure. Otherwise FANTASTIC!

It's very good sunglass, i love it.... my boyfriend give to me for my birthday, i work exposure everyday to the sun i am realtor in one resort in Puerto Rico and i need luxury and good polarized lens and this is excellent. only thing is difficult to find eyewear retainer.

My first pair of Maui Jim sunglasses. Took them to Hawaii and I had a completely different view looking through these glasses.
They style is perfect and I get lots of compliments. I can't wear them anymore because the nose piece fell off and I lost it. I hope I can order just the nose piece. That would be one complaint along with that it did not fit snugly and fell off my head and scratched the frames immediately after I purchased them. It could have been because the sales person would only sell the sunglasses that were out and not a new pair in a box. Shame on me!(Posted on 11/28/12)

I've had my Kulas for a year and they're the next best thing to my anti-wrinkle face cream! I love them for driving becos they give clarity to view and eliminate glare.They're perfectly flattering for my round face. Some minor 'cons' they tend to smudge easily and body heat or sweat can fog them up. Easy fix, I keep mine inside a cloth case and give them a rub/clean before taking them out to wear. Also, seems cracking above nose is a common problem.Mine cracked right up middle for no apparent reason. I returned them to my nearest MJ agent and.. HEY PRESTO Maui Jim replaced mine with a BRAND SPANKING new pair... no questions asked (as glasses were still under warranty). THANKYOU MAUI JIM! I would definitely purchase another pair, and recommend them to friends.
