The Lani is the most fashion forward style in my opinion. I love the look of this frame. The only drawback is the weight of the frame - too heavy to wear for long periods of time.

While I was in San Diego this past weekend due to an award trip from my husband's job, we got a pair of these incredible shades and so far I love them! I have some family members that own a pair of your glasses and always told me to get some, well no I have some and did not have to pay for them! Thanks Clearwire!

Really nice style. I get alot of compliments while wearing them. The only thing I don't like is that they are so heavy. I could only wear them for less then an hour. I made the mistake of going hiking in them and my nose really hurt. Maybe it is the thick frames? Also, it would've been nice to have the rubber pads on the nose to make them more comfortable.

I have many pairs of maui jim and these are my favorite pair. I keep reaching for these. They were a bit loose at first, but an optician can heat up for frames and adjust them for you. After they were adjusted, they were just perfect. And these don't leave a dent on my nose because it has "good surface contact" with my nose. I am very happy.

I have always wanted "movie star" glasses, but have been told my prescription (-5) won't work with large frames. Thanks to Ashley in customer service, I got my wish! She sent me a list of the frames that would work with my prescription. It included Ginger and Lani.

The Ginger looked good, but the Lani in amethyst was the sort of fashion statement I wanted to make. Even with the prescription, I don't consider them "heavy", at least no more noticeably so than other large style sunglasses w/regular lenses.

I got the Maui HT lenses so I can wear them as regular glasses. In fact, I am wearing them right now, indoors! Outdoors, they are about as dark as my Transition lenses get, but have better contrast (and cost less!).

As for the size issue other people have complained about, I have a medium head (size 7 1/8 hat) and they fit perfectly! Perhaps it is because I got them at an optician and they adjusted them to fit me.

If you want style, the best quality optics, and need prescription lenses, do what I did, ASK customer service what frames will work with your prescription and which local opticians carry Maui Jim. You won't regret it!

I got the gloss black and neutral grey Lani's and they are absolutely amazing!! I love the evolution lense, because the clarity is amazing and they are not heavy like other glass lenses. They look so chic and stylish with every outfit I wear. They are super easy to clean and keep in good shape. By far my favorite glasses to date.

I am truly astonished with the terrible quality of these sunglasses. I was so excited to see Maui Jim produce such a stylish frame. I spent about a month and a half trying to find these sunglasses in the amethyst color in a store because I wanted to try them on in person before purchasing. Finally I caved and ordered them online.

When they arrived I was a little disappointed because they weren't quite as cute in person as they were online. I decided to give them a try anyway. Initially they fit my face perfectly, but after about a week and a half they were incredibly loose. This was a first with any pair of sunglasses for me, as I have a huge head and things are sometimes too tight but never too large. They became so loose that they actually fell off my head. All it took was falling about a foot and suddenly the lenses of my glasses were incredibly scratched.

The frame seems incredibly flimsy. The lenses don't seem to block sunlight well at all, nor are they easily cleaned. I've had Maui Jim sunglasses before and was incredibly pleased with their quality, both as far as the protection offered by the lenses and the durability of the glasses. I am not an incredibly active person, my sunglasses don't get frequently manhandled. I take pretty good care of my sunglasses, but they need to at least be able to survive driving to the store or laying by the pool without me having to worry about them getting messed up.

From the useless lenses to the cheaply made frame, these glasses have proved to be a HUGE waste of money. These are not the quality Maui Jim is known for. Even the case they came in has begun to unravel. About the only thing I can see these sunglasses being good for is if you want to put them on a shelf and look at them because you think they're pretty. I am incredibly disappointed in these sunglasses and advise anyone considering purchasing these to pick another pair that can actually be worn.

I love the fit and the feel of this fashionable frame, and it has a great lens, as expected from Maui Jim. I ordered in Tort/ Grey but hope the Ruby/HCL becomes available again soon!
