I recently purchased the Makaha Maumi Jim sunglasses. I just love their comfort and clarity. I added the RX to the glasses and it is marvelous! I have a great pair of sunglasses that I can keep on to see up close to read and the cost is as low as readers that are bought at any pharmacy without a prescription. I will be staying with Maui Jim from now on.

These are the best glasses I have owned. I spend long hours in the sun on the water fishing and found by mid afternoon a dull headache would start. Not since I bought my maui jims. I now have 2 pair the same, I ware one pair all the time and one I keep for fishing. They are so light and the frames are so strong.
My only problem although a fairly major one is the lenses break at the nose piece. Both my pair have done the same one inside warranty one outside. I will buy a new set of lenses but it is worth considering.

.....through my Maui Jim's. My friend purchased a pair of these sunglasses last year as whilst on holiday I tried them on. I could not believe the difference in the colours of the sea. Also with having Blue eyes I found it hard not to screw up my face in the sun...not now I have my very own pair of Maui Jim's Sports. The best glasses I have ever bought. No more screwing my face up and no more marks on my nose where old sunglasses in the past have been heavy. These are so light weight.
Go on...buy yourself a pair today.

I love my MJ's. The view is always clear and they are really light. The only issue I have had is that the lense has cracked at the nose piece twice. One time it was in warranty and this time, I don't think they are. I still will pay for the repair because THESE ARE GREAT GLASSES! I recommend Maui Jim's to everyone.

Working outside all day needs a really great pair of sun glasses that stay on my face in all weather, especially while sweating. The rubberized grips on the nose and ears helps keep the glasses in place no matter what position my head is in. After wearing these Maui Jims, I will never be able to wear another brand again because they are the best polorization my money can buy. Never leave the house without them. Highly recommend.

I bought these glasses because I am originally from Makaha, and thought I should get something to remember my home city. This is by far the best pair of sunglasses I have ever owned. Especially for my job as a Drop Zone Safety Officer, looking into the bright sky, these pair of sunglasses are the only pair that I've had that I can make out my personnel jumping out of a plane at 18,000 AGL and track them all the way down. It is also great for JUMPING...lets me see everything around me with out squinting....ALL AROUND GREAT SET OF GLASSES.

I have two pair of these and although I love the Maui Jim product, I have also had the same recurring lens cracking at the nose piece. It has happened twice with both pair. Maui Jim has been wonderful and in all cases has agreed to repalce the lenses. Their customer service has been great, but I really don't want to continue to return them and be without. My brown pair is cracked again, for the thrid time, and I am working with the MJ folks and will resolve something I am sure. It appears to me that the screw hole is too close to the edge of the lens. I have a thrid pair of a different style and have had no issues with them at all.

After trying the Maui Jim sunglasses over 8 years ago I have not used any other sunglasses... In fact my whole family is hooked on their great looks, easy and light frames and great sun blocking. We live in Wyoming where the sun is high and bright in the summer and in winters the snow is deep and the glare is unbearable. These sunglasses are great-summer and winter. I can't imagine using anything else. I use them all the time weather I am driving or out for a run. They are so light weight but still stay on my face when active. Once you try them you'll never change.
