OMG, these are the best thing going.. I never heard of them until I just went to Hawaii, I was looking at the display near the swimming pool, while looking at them, several people walked by me and said they are the best thing going and one person had 7 pairs of them. I am always taking my glasses off put the sunglasses on taking the sunglasses off to read something while driving, and with the readers I do not have to do that. I bought my self a pair and I will buy another pair. They are great.

These are my second pair of MJ readers. The first ones are the Ho'Okipa. I used to use a 1/2 moon shape of magnified plastic reader I found at the drug store. You moistened it with a drop of water and placed it on your regular sunglasses. Problem was they got air bubbles, were not very clear, and you had to get them in just the right place in order to read comfortably. The MJ's have been the answer to that and I love them so much I had to get a second pair for the car. I wear them for everything I do outdoors and the first pair have lasted over a year with no miss-haps. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them!!!

This is the best pair of sunglasses I have ever purchased. I don't usually buy expensive sunglasses, because I have little ones and they are always wanting to wear them. Since these are readers in addition to sunglasses, they don't want to touch them. I LOVE these glasses. I'm tempted to purchase another pair.

Love these glasses. I owned MJs for the last 8 years and after my former pair got crushed from a group hug from crew mates (we won a 3 mile head race ;-) I found the answer to my dreams for my aging eyes. The readers are excellent and allow me to read the StrokeCoach when rowing in my Quad. Also the benefit of having these while driving are a huge plus.

I was a little uneasy about spending so much for a pair of sunglasses. Usually I kept my budget for such things to around 10 dollars. However, as soon as I tried on this pair of sunglasses, I immediately handed my debit card over and purchased them.

The lightweight construction of the frames made it feel like I was barely wearing sunglasses at all. They fit around my head perfectly and felt very secure.

The lenses were also of excellent quality. Although I was trying them on in a mall, the immediate difference in color was very well-received. The salesperson even let me walk outside with them on to see if I would like them in direct sunlight. They felt and looked wonderful, and I would absolutely recommend these and other Maui Jim products to others. Well done!

I bought the Makaha Bronze/Tort. 2.0 to see if they really worked, and did they ever. I wear bi-focals but do not have a distance problem. I can wear these anywhere and do not have to have my regurlar glasses with me at all times. The Makaha's are better than my prescription sunglasses, not as heavy and more comfortable. I wear the Makaha's more than my Maui Cat 111's

I just wanted to express my thanks to Maui Jim for the great service they provided me. I have 2 pairs of Maui Jim sunglasses and really depend on them. My favorite pair has the hidden reader inside and they are a life-saver for me! When one lens broke recently I sent them back to Maui Jim and they just returned them to me all fixed, with a brand new case, and only charged me for shipping. This is a fantastic company with great products! I am so grateful.

Bought these on the spur of the moment. Was in a store in Dallas, TX buying a pair of reading glasses...salesperson ask me to try these on and the deal was done! Use them exclusively for golf and the "readers" make keeping score a pleasure and not a chore. Light weight, comfortable and style are additional features that are impressive.

I am not concerned about "quality of product" because the Maui Jim's I am currently wearing are over 6 years old and no problems. These will no doubt be handed down someday to my Son

You can't go wrong with these!

The Best! Just bought my 4th pair (needed to increase reading power), lost one pair, and scratched the other at the track, and have retired them to track driving only ... tough environment. Great for driving to read the digital info and see who is calling on my cell phone, but of course I don't drive and talk on the phone. Also love being able to read outdoors in all conditions and situations.

Must DISAGREE with some of the other reviewers ... they are not good for golf, OK, great for scorekeeping, but if you have the proper stance, you are viewing the ball through the readers portion of the lenses.

I am getting ready to order my 5th pair with the HT lenses for low light driving on and off the track.

Only wish they were offered in more styles, even if it were a custom order. Thanks MJ

I was on a trip and needed a pair of "readers". These are great. I need to see my GPS in the vehicle, and they work fine.

They are super lightweight, but very durable.

The polarized lenses are very good to have.

I have looked at Maui Jims in the past, but this is my first purchase. I wear these more than my prescription sunglasses.
