I have owned Maui Jim sunglasses for years now and have been pleased with them. For these glasses, I love the lenses and the style, but Maui Jim started using the nylon bridge on these, which is bulkier then the previous titanium bridge I had, and it can cut into the bridge of my nose, which is why I marked down the fit to 3 stars. The rest of the titanium frame fits great. If you are careful, use your case and treat them well, they will last for years.

The Maui Jim Mala HCL Bronze sunglasses are simply incredible! I never thought I'd drop the bucks for a pair of them. Already had another brand in hand and ready to pay when the sales clerk brought these out. I was sold! You will easily feel and see the difference when you try them on. I love the lenses. Colors pop and the sun doesn't glare. Easy on the eyes and feels like wearing nothing at all. This is easily the best investment in sunglasses I've ever made. I'll be wearing these for a long while. I love these things. The lenses are perfect. I have had polarized Oakleys for years, but they can't hold a candle to the Maui Pure lenses. My brother has some lighthouses that are good but the Maui pure lenses make all the difference in the world. Colors really do pop with these sunglasses. Its hard to describe but easy to see the deference. I baby these things so I haven't had any problems with durability but with them being so thin framed I do worry about them being crushed. If you wear sunglasses everyday like I do, then you have to have the Maui pure lenses.

At first I was VERY skeptical about dropping the big bucks for a pair of sunglasses that look and felt like (due to the weight) there made out of a soda can. Finally I went ahead and got them and all I can say is they are AWESOME! They look and feel great, although most times you can't feel them at all. The HCL Bronzes are definitely the way to go because after trying both on, the Neutral gray appears to be to dark and dull for my taste. I have probably dropped these a few times and they still look the way they did when they came out of the box! Also these come with a great 2 year warranty where you pay shipping and they will practically replace them for free! I could not be any happier and as the title say, that's the best $320 I have ever spent!

I'm a "Sunglass Connoisseur" because I have light-sensitive eyes and have to wear sunglasses almost all the time. I have a couple of pair of vintage Vuarnet sunglasses which are great but heavy to wear. I have a pair of Oakley which are stylish but don't have polarized lens. I purchased a pair of Maui Jims almost 7 years ago and I LOVED them. Recommended them to others, who purchased and loved them. My old pair finally scratched bad enough from my dropping them that I needed to get another pair. I purchased the Mala style with the HCL Bronze lens because of the MauiPure lens and the lightness of the frames. It's like wearing nothing but the view from the lens are perfection. The MauiPure lens give me confidence that with their strong protection, I will be wearing these Maui Jims for decades.
