Having owned a pair of Kahuna's, I bought the Peahi looking for something in a plastic frame with a more modern style. The Peahi has been my favorite pair of Maui Jims, they are big, strong, and uber comfortable. I own three other pair of Maui Jims, but this is the pair I take everywhere.

First time America, forever a Maui Jim!

Found my MauiJim Peahi Black in a store in Atlanta and loved it right away. Very nice pair of glasses and the grey color is a honor to my eyes. I love the modern look, although my girl friend thinks I'm too handsome now while wearing them ;-)

Nice shades but...

I am a truck driver who has to wear sunglasses all day. The Peahi has great lenses and fit my face very well. However the temples dig into the back of my ears making them uncomfortable after a few hours of wear. I brought them to a retailer who heated them up and bent them abit so they wont dig in so much. Then they were loose and kept slipping forward and down my nose. So I had them bent again, this time inward so they hug my head more and hopefully won't slip down my nose so much. They have a heavy lense which only adds to the issue. They still are uncomfortable after a while. And I can't wear them all day. Disapointed, yes. Expensive, yes. I wish they had longer temples that would have fit around the back of my ears better. Looking for some other sunglasses that I can wear comfortably all day.

Great sunnies

A lifeguard for the last 15 years, I depend on my sunglasses to keep my eyes sharp. If I don't see it, people get hurt. I lost my last Maui Jim's over the side a rescue craft during a patrol, so I went straight out to buy another pair. I was instantly hooked on the Peahi. Great coverage, comfortable frames, and Maui Jim's amazing lens technology. I've been wearing Maui Jim's for the last seven years and I wonder what I ever did without them. This model has alot more weight to it then the previous models I have owned, which I like. I still have MJ Sport models for biking, running, and working out. The Peahi has a little bit more style and I wear them on the beach, driving, and out with my friends. I always recommend Maui Jim's to my friends, and this model is perfect because it fits well to your face, is comfortable to wear, and the lenses cannot be beaten.
