I own Kahuna and Pilot models. Pilot is very light weight and the color on the glasses is not too dark - so these can be worn on dusky days or even when it is bright outside. They work well while driving in the rain. Love all MJ's and especially the one's i already have.

I have just purchased the Pilot sunglasses and have not stopped admiring them or receiving compliments. I love the aviator look and non of the avaitors I have ever tried or owned have matched up to these.
The Qualilty is something you can feel, of the soft steel, the nose pads etc.. including the look....it outclasses all the major fashionable brands claiming to have special lenses.
What I love about the maui jims is also their consistent in quality and the easy to browse website. They are to sunglasses, what Apple is to computers.(Posted on 11/28/12)

I have a pair of these and I Love them. Unfortunately, my wife accidently knocked them off the counter and the lens broke. This gave me a reason to buy Another Pair. Actually I bought 2! One in the Silver and one in the Bronze. These glasses are the coolest!!!!

I have purchased six pairs of Maui Jim sunglasses over the past 20 years. My husband does not wear anything but Maui Jim and neither do I.The latest pair purchased was the Pilot 210-17 Gold Frame for myself and I absolutely Love Them!! I am hoping that for our 23rd wedding anniversary my husband will buy me the Pilot style in the grey/silver. When in the past, unfortunately, one of the lenses became scratched or the "bendable" frame would brake, Maui Jim's customer service was wonderful about fixing the lens or the arm and did so with excellent return time. I would and have recommended these sunglasses to my family and friends.

Purchased these glasses on a recent cruise to Noumea, and they are the greatest.
The style, colour and fit are perfect. I said as much to the salesperson in the shop when I first put them on my face they just "fitted".
I play golf, go walking, go to the beach and drive a race car when time permits so I need good sun and glare protection. These "Pilots" give me just that.

This is my 5th pair of MJs, and my favorite for all-around wear. I was torn between the Pilot and Black Rock, but the look and fit of the Pilot couldn't be beat. The most difficult decision was choosing the frame and lens color. I went with the silver, but you really can't go wrong with any combination. I recommend MJs to everyone, not only for their quality eyewear but for their impeccable customer service. While vacationing in Maui, my titanium sport lenses cracked and I dropped by the main office and had them repaired in less than 15 minutes. Once you buy a pair of MJs, you'll never buy any other brand.
