Durability Style Value Fit Just walked into the store, saw these shades, tried them on and voila...the best I've ever owned. Worried as I loose or break mine all the time but the warranty made the sale. Looked great on my face and they are the most comfortable I've ever owned. Pricey but over time will be worth it.

My latest addition

Maui Jim did a good job fitting their finest lenses into those 217, 218 and 210's.
The modern unique designs we were waiting for with optimal visual acuity. Despite the large lenses, they are extremely light weight thanks to the frame material and Evolution lenses.
I took the grey lenses to use them in bright light conditions, especially during this hot summer.
My wife bought the 210, following the fashion trend of course. But I felt this 217 fitted me better.
These I do definitively always keep in their case whenever they are not on my nose... inside a backpack or purse these might suffer.(Posted on 11/28/12)

Just picked up a pair of Sandalwood sunglasses and I must say, they're amazing! Very comfortable fit, light on my face and the lenses are crystal clear. As a surfer and former lifeguard, I highly recommend these ocean tested sunglasses.

Some of the best sunglasses money can buy. The only way to describe these is to look through a pair yourself. You won't be dissapointed. I'm a little surprised that they are manufactured in Japan though. Perhaps they have the best equipment available to produce them. I liked these so much, I've ordered a 2nd pair with the darker lens. The only "fault" I can find is that where the arm joins the frame, the lens itself shows some distortion on the left hand side. This is an amateur fault and I will wait to see whether my next pair has a similar problem before going through warranty.
I also bought my wife a pair of Pilots so will be interesting to see how they stack up.(Posted on 11/28/12)
