I just picked these up today. Expensive but worth it. I was going to buy Oakley's when I went to the store. However, I liked the real glass lens over plastic for acuity and scratch resistance. The bronze lens on the Stingray is perfect for every day driving or on the water boating (I live on a lake in sunny Montana, yeah.) The color and clarity is sharp but not artificial. The Oakley's changed the true color of what I was viewing and that was unacceptable to me. Maui Jim lets me know what the true color is but makes it sharper. When you are viewing a Bald Eagle you need to know the beak is bright yellow, the head is true white, the body is UPS brown, and the tail is true white! It is essential to have the best in Montana! Additionally, fit is perfect. M

Stunning is the only word to describe how I felt when I first put these on in the store. After a great deal of research, & consulting w/ the Optician, I decided to try my 1st pair of progressive lenses. I wanted something to be able to read trail maps & see the nav screen in my car but need only a slight distance correction. For sports & driving they designed the distance field large & the intermediate/close part quite small. There was NO adjustment period & the optics are incredible. The MJ design lets me use these in overcast but glare conditions where other brands are just too dark.
I like the bronze and literally smile whenever I put these on, my eyes relax being able to see close or distance with vivid clarity and vibrant color. ....expensive but worth it!

I would have never have spent so much money on glasses until I wore them! I have several pairs now with grey, HCL, and Maui Rose lenses. I wear them for all different things. I love the Maui evolution lens and the glass lens (which these glasses have). The clarity is amazing! They provide a color rich, sharp, clear view of the world. The colors just pop out at you! Highly reccomended!!!!

I first saw these in HI and was very impressed with the clarity and quality workmanship. They are without a doubt the best sunglasses I have ever worn. I ordered them with a prescription and I have been very satisfied.

I did not believe in paying a lot for sunglasses until my optometrist told me to get a good pair of glasses.I have had these Maui's for two years and cannot believe how great they are!I like to drive and my eyes would bother me after just an hour driving in the sun but with these glasses I feel great even after 8 hours on the road.and on the beach they are incredible!

After having many different pairs of sunglasses over the years I can honestly say that Maui Jim's are the best. These shades offer a stylish look suitable for any activity or occasion. Eye and face comfort are maximized by superior lens technology and lighter than air frames. These quality shades are well worth the money and I highly recommend to everyone as they are absolutely worth it.

These glasses were scratched by saltwater the very first day I used them. They also "fog" up very easily. It is almost like they have a glaze over them. I am extremely disappointed in these glasses. I am in the process of consulting with the company to have them order me a new pair with less issues w/ the lenses.

These glasses are good! Actually....they might be too good. They really bring out the colors in everything outside (you really have to try to see). They are so good, in fact, that it leads me to the one thing that bothers me........When I'm driving it brings out the colors from my window tinting so when I look out the side window I'm hit with bright rainbow colors from the tinting. Other than that, super comfortable and I can't imagine ever using another brand of glasses!

I guess you would say I have an illness having owned nine pairs of MJ's. The Stingray is the best for especially bright environments as the larger frames/temples block light. They are the most comfortable pair I have owned - Stingray feels like they were molded to my head perfectly. They are my current favorite. Past favorite was Kahuna.
