Excellent glasses
Review by: Diver -
I have had my Sunsets for a number of years. Love the fit and the fact that they don't slide down my nose! They also fit my small head. Have had to send them back to Maui Jim twice. Once the frame cracked at the screw hole on top and another time the temple broke (but then I crashed into a post). Now, the frame broke again when they were in my purse (no idea why).

Best glasses on earth
Review by: rgrantham -
I bought the Maui Jim Sport glasses for the sole purpose of outdoor sports especially golfing. The rimless bottom gives you the ability to see the ball without obstruction or interference. I Love These Glasses!!! The lenses are fabulous for driving, outdoor activities, and even when I went fishing, I noticed I could actually SEE the fish when nobody else could!!! I have owned Costa Del Mar's and honestly, they do not compare to the Maui Jim's for comfort/viewing/lens visibility. I am sending my old pair of Sports in for a lens replacement because the other glasses I have tried don't come close!

Great Glasses
Review by: Bodean -
Had these glasses for 4 years, lost them, bought replacement pair, then someone found my old pair. I'm keeping both! The old pair is showing the wear and tear of lots of fishing, long bike rides, and lots of suncreen. So now I have my old pair for the rough work, and my new pair for driving and day to day wear :-)
I do wish these were still offered in the bronze lens color!(Posted on 11/28/12)

best glasses ever
Review by: MJlover1999 -
I bought these glasses-bronze in 1999, stepped on them, bought another pair in 2004 and have them still. Wear them everyday-rain, cloudy, sunny, snowy, doesn't matter. The glare is gone. Please bring back the bronze color. black lens is too dark. MJ wearer only for the past 11 years.

Absolutely LOVE these shades!
Review by: Mariposa -
I have had these shades for at least 5 years, wouldn't trade them for the world! They've been with me kayaking, biking, hiking, beach romping...still look beautiful. The lenses / optics are truly amazing, but in addition I particularly like the lightweight frames - I have a very sensitive nose due to allergies, and these are a godsend, can hardly feel them. I have a small-ish face, and they fit well, too. A request, however, would be to please bring back the rose lenses! I am ready for a back-up pair! I have had to replace the nose guard pieces twice, but Maui Jim is very responsive, replacing them quickly and at no cost to me.

Best sunglasses!! Please Bring back the Bronze!
Review by: ILovetoRide -
I logged on tonight to buy another pair of MJ Sunsets in Bronze, and am so disappointed that they only offer them in black/grey now! I will wait to get another pair till they make them in Bronze again! After more than 6 years of hard use, my existing pair was brought back from near-death (duct tape on the hinges, tons of scratches) by the incredible repair work of the MJ company, and has gone back to being my main pair of glasses that I wear everyday and also for my sport, long distance horseback riding, which involves alot of dust and dirt. They are the best! Best fit, best glare management, best looking. Bring back the bronze, please!

Favorite Sunglasses
Review by: Pat91 -
I purchased a pair of Sunset MJ's in October of 2001. They are by far the most comfortable, lightweight sunglasses I have owned. The optics and polarized glare reduction are perfect for golf, biking, driving or any other demanding outdoor activity. They are a godsend in the winter with snow and bright sunlight - ie skating or sledding with my family.
These glasses have been to Pebble Beach, San Diego, Dominican Republic, Canada, and countless other destinations including Maui - and in the oceans (just make sure to rinse the salt water from them as soon as possible). These glasses have also ridden the wildest Six Flags roller coasters known to man (upside down and everything imaginable) and have stuck on my face tighter then my grin.
I have dropped them several times and like a cat with 9 lives they seem to land on the frames and not the lenses every time. What sold me on them was the full nose/ bridge frame design. Please do not ever change this sleek, classic design EVER - I would not wear glasses with the small pads that dig into my nose. I have had the rubber pads fall off - but no worries these glasses are still comfortable without them.
Well a bit of bad news today... after 9 years I had misplaced them. I turned my house upside down and had no luck finding them - even made me late for work. As it turns out I must have left them on the trunk of my black car while working in my garage and then driven off.... Well my wife continued the search and found them in several pieces in the street about 2 doors down. My wife - knowing how this affected me ordered another pair the same evening. I think i"ll keep her and the MJ Sunsets for a long time!(Posted on 11/28/12)

I agree...Bring Back the BRONZE
Review by: stokesbaby -
I love these sunglasses and my boyfriend gets me a new pair EVERY year at Christmas. This last Christmas was a disappointment since they no longer carry the bronze. I substituted for the Makaha style, and I simply don't use them (flimsy and doesn't cut the glare). I'm heartbroken. I continue to wear my old SUNSETs despite their appearance and splotchy lenses.
