Got Sunset as my first pair from my wife, since then I have NEVER worn another brand of sunglasses. I have mangled at least 3 pairs at work however their repair/warranty policy is impeccable! Every single time I have sent them in to be fixed, another came in it's place no problems. I have been completely satisfied and happy with my Sunset.
I also got Waimea Bay and was happy with that one too! Unfortunately, the only downside is that when my Waimea Bay broke, they no longer made that style so had to find another style to replace it with. But even that's a deal/steal.
Buy ANY Maui Jim sunglasses and you wear them for life. I never go anywhere without them. You'll never be sorry!!

I had mine for over ten years until the ocean swallowed them at the beach. I was devastated. I tried other glasses, but nothing compares to the quality and comfort that I have come accustomed to with my Maui's. I could not take it anymore without my Maui's. So I scraped up enough money up to buy another pair of Maui's and now I am happy again. The Sunset's are great for working outdoors. They are wrap around style.

These are the first maui jim's i have bought, as well as the first pair of sunglasses that i have bought myself. I must say, they are truely amazing. The quality of the entire product, including the case and bag, is just unmatched. I wear mine every day, and when they are on, after about thirty seconds, i forget they are even there because they fit so comfortably and the quality of the lenses is just unmatched. I must say, i am now a solid Maui Jim customer for life!

I am a boat captain and spend plenty of time on the water. I've been wearing Maui Jim sunglasses for years, but the Sport Sunsets have been my favorites. On my 4th pair, bought the first when they first came out. Nothing else is as comfortable or durable. I haven't worn a pair out, but after a few years each, they seem to "get legs." Actually, I'm on my 3rd pair, but just picked up a 4th as a spare, since the current ones are 3 years old now. I also wear them under a helmet on my motorcycle - very comfortable and durable there, as well.

Great glasses, comfortable, and the lenses are well made. BUT, the frame broke at the pivot point of the left arm. I raised them up to the top of my head and "snap." Unfortunately, this occurred one day before the warranty expired (seriously) while I was deployed overseas. By the time I got home and was able to assemble all the stuff to return them (receipt, box, etc), it was two weeks after the warranty. Pretty sure I'm going to eat the cost of these glasses. Funny thing, I've got a pair of Ray Bans that are 25 years old and still going strong. Pretty sure what my next set of glasses will be...

i have three pair which i bought in 2000 so they are 12 years old!

i give kudos to Maui Jim's customer service and repair policy

i have sat on them and broke each at least twice; for 10 bucks plus shipping (2 bucks more) i get a brand new pair in the mail and a beautiful brand new case and cloth to go with it at no extra charge!! All without a receipt!1

that is a value and a half!! plus the anti glare and polarization of these lenses is the best!! i highly recommend!!!

The Sunset is by far the best fitting pair of sunglasses I've ever owned. They can be worn all day with no discomfort. The light weight is amazing. The clarity of the lenses is far superior to any other brand, no distortion or blurring. You will not find a better pair of sunglasses of this high quality at a better price.
My only request would be to make them available with the bronze lenses for cloudy, but bright conditions and maybe offer them with the Maui Evolution or other darker lens for the beach.
