Can you replace lenses?
Absolutely! When we replace lenses however, we replace both lenses in order to match the tint and ensure that the axis of polarization is the same for both lenses. The cost is $60.00 USD for the lenses. For return shipping, please enclose $8.95 if you are in the U.S. and $12.60 (plus applicable taxes) if you are in Canada. Are my broken sunglasses covered by the warranty?
That depends. If you were hit by a sea turtle while driving Alligator Alley, probably not (good try though). Our warranty simply covers defects in materials and workmanship for up to two years.
If I need an adjustment should I send them in?
We would by happy to make any adjustments that are necessary, but inorder to optimize the fit, we strongly recommend that you visit a local sunglass shop, optician or eye-care professional.
Can I still get warranty service even if I don't have proof of purchase?
Definitely. Simply document in your letter when and where you purchased your glasses, and we would be happy to process your repair. For return shipping, please enclose $8.95 if you are in the U.S. and $12.60 (plus applicable taxes) if you are in Canada. For shipping charges outside U.S. & Canada, Click here. If your repair is not covered by warranty, we will call you with the low cost charges for the repair.
Are broken or scratched lenses covered under warranty?
Unfortunately, our warranty only covers defects in material and workmanship but not breakage and scratches from normal wear and tear. The good news is the cost to replace lenses is only $60.00 USD for non-prescription lenses. Can I switch the color of my lenses?
In most cases yes. All you need to do is include $60.00 USD for non-prescription lenses. For return shipping, please enclose $8.95 if you are in the U.S and $12.60 (plus applicable taxes) if you are in Canada. For shipping charges outside U.S & Canada, Click here. Also, attach a note of what color lenses you would like to put into in the frame.
Can I get a refund for my sunglasses?
If you purchased your sunglasses from a retailer and you are looking for a refund, you need to return to the store where you bought your sunglasses.
If you purchased your sunglasses from mauijim.com your complete satisfaction is our number one priority. If for any reason, you are unhappy with your purchase, you may return it for credit or exchange within 30 days of your purchase. Please see the "Return Policy" page for complete details.
Can you send me parts for my sunglasses?
Unfortunately, we do not send out parts. We prefer that our expert repair technicians handle all repairs at our repair center.
How much is return shipping for two pairs of glasses?
The return fee would be $9.95 USD for two pairs of glasses. Click here to contact the Maui Jim office nearest you for shipping charges outside the U.S.
I need a prescription lens replaced, what do I need to do?
RX lenses can only be replaced through an optician who carries Maui Jim.
Any tips on taking care of my Maui Jims?
Your sunglasses are coated with an anti-reflective (A/R) coating which is essential in eliminating glare and is one of the three elements that make up our patented design. As with any quality product, tender loving care will enhance and prolong the usefulness of your sunglasses and protect your investment.
General Cleaning
On a regular basis, rinse the lenses in warm, running water. Use a mild liquid dish or bath soap to wash each lens surface. Rinse and dry using a clean, soft absorbent cloth. Do not use paper-based products to clean your lenses. Do not use abrasive cleaners or soaps and detergents which may leave a deposit on the lens. Also, avoid cleaning your lenses with certain tissues that have lotion or silicone added, as both will leave a film on the lenses. Do your nose pads contain Latex?
Our nose pads do not contain Latex material.
Can I request a faster return shipping service on my repair?
Definitely. Our standard repair return shipping via USPS is $8.95 USD and $12.60 (plus applicable taxes) if you are in Canada. We can ship your repair back UPS 2 day for $10.00 USD or overnight for $15.00 USD. Click here for shipping charges outside the U.S. We would need a physical address for shipping via UPS. Please specify the shipping method with your repair information.
When can I expect my product to ship?
Provided product is in stock, order placed Monday through Friday (Before 2:00 P.M. Central Time) not including Holidays will be shipped the same day.
