He pays a lot of attributes to learning to win at an early age to his mother, Donna. "She was the one that pulled me up when I was down." In 2002, the family headed to the inaugural LDA Tour event at Laurel Springs Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia where Kevin finished second. 2004 with his first Long Drive Championship, Kevin started 2005 off with a second championship with 2006 proving to be his biggest year in the sport of long drive winning dear friend, SEAN "THE BEAST" FISTER'S US Long Drive Tour Championship. Captain Sean Gill
Boat Captain and Angler
Quotable
"Every time you're on the water there is something to learn. The difference in your average fisherman and a great fisherman is in the details. Meaning how you can apply something learned elsewhere to where you are right now; My Maui rose-colored Cyclones enable me to see fish in shallow water that others simply can't see."
Bio
Captain Sean Gill was born and raised in South Florida, and has been fishing his entire life. The outdoors and fishing came naturally to him since the Everglades were his backyard, Biscayne Bay his front yard and the Keys were his side yard. Parlaying his passion into a career Sean has been able to fish all over the world. Combining these experiences has taught Sean the techniques that are necessary to be successful.
Favorites
"I would have to say it was being a part of the 2005 BXRL Championship Team. We have fished a lot of tournaments, but this one was different. The tournament format was great: catch and release; a judge on board making the calls right there; the ESPN camera crew and the pressure of a big money tournament...and to come out on top was unforgettable."
Captain George Mitchell
Boat Captain and Angler

"Every day is the last day, every fish is the ONLY fish, but it is usually the first of a multiple! Never leave the dock unless everything is in your favor. Weather, tides, and other conditions all play a key role in fishing success; never leave without all your equipment in tip-top shape! I never leave the house without a pair of Maui Jim's around my neck. My personal favorite is the Peahi in a dark grey lens. They are the number one tool for not only spotting fish but also the right sea conditions!"
Bio
Capt. George grew up fishing the waters of Southeast Florida and the Bahamas and decided to make his love his occupation in 1990. With over 40 years of experience he has learned a lot, and spent a lot of time sharing his knowledge of all aspects of fishing through his "Yamaha Saltwater School". He and Capt. Sean are not only seasoned guides but also multi tournament winners both inshore and offshore.
Favorites
My most memorable fishing day was when we won the inaugural Islamorada Swordfish Tournament. It was a great team effort from planning to logistics, but the kicker was we were finally able to beat some of the Top Dogs in the billfish world.

Fishing on a river in Alaska, offshore fishing off the San Diego coast, driving down the California highway, or skiing in Mammoth, Maui Jim Sunglasses are the only glasses that I wear. In Alaska I choose the HCL Bronze lens for the changing weather conditions. Offshore fishing I go with the Neutral Grey lens, driving down the highway I choose the MauiReaders, and in the mountains I go with the Maui Rose. The quality and performance of Maui Jim Sunglasses surpasses all others- once you wear them, you are hooked!

We love our Maui Jim's as the lenses have just the right amount of protection against the glare of the sun without compromising perfect vision. Your sight remains so true, it's almost as if you don't have any glasses on! I also love the comfort of the frames that allow me to ride with them on as they don't slip or bump around. And naturally, we love the style and good looks of the Maui Jim's!
