Cura adeguata degli occhiali da sole
Come per qualsiasi prodotto di qualità, una cura adeguata migliorerà e prolungherà l'utilizzo degli occhiali da sole, proteggendo il vostro investimento. Il lato posteriore della lente degli occhiali da sole è rivestito da uno strato anti-riflesso (A/R) essenziale, che è anche uno dei tre elementi costitutivi del nostro design brevettato.
Per prestazioni ottimali, lavate quotidianamente gli occhiali da sole con acqua calda. Se necessario, lavate la superficie di ogni lente con un detergente liquido neutro. Asciugate con un panno pulito, morbido e assorbente. Non pulite le lenti con prodotti a base di carta. Non utilizzate detersivi abrasivi, saponi o detergenti che possono lasciare depositi sulle lenti. Non utilizzate tessuti con l'aggiunta di lozioni, lanolina, silicone o altri detergenti in quanto lasceranno una pellicola sulle lenti.
The multiple coatings on your lenses are resistant to light scratching, however heavy, abusive scratching can break through the coatings and cause visible marks. Significantly help prolong the life of your lenses by removing dirt and other particles with good cleaning practices and keep your sunglasses in their case while not in use. Good cleaning practices will also help minimize scratching.
To reduce the chances of dropping your sunglasses on surfaces that may scratch your lenses, you might consider investing in a pair of sunglass retainer cords to keep them secure while wearing them.
Clean cloths are a great way to keep your sunglasses clean and smudge free. We recommend you frequently launder your clean cloth to keep if free of debris, dirt and oils that could damage your lenses. Wash in warm soapy water. Do not use fabric softener as this may leave a film on your lenses.
All new sunglasses purchased from Maui Jim include one clean cloth bag and a protective case, but if either of yours are lost or damaged, you can purchase replacements here.
Excessive heat may deteriorate your lenses or misshape your nylon frame. Avoid placing your sunglasses where you might expect excessive heat, for example, on the dashboard of your car.
El agua “dura” contiene altos niveles de minerales sin disolver, especialmente calcio y magnesio. Para “suavizarla” se le agrega sodio durante el proceso de filtrado. Ejemplos cotidianos incluyen el agua de la piscina y el agua sin filtrar, como por ejemplo, el agua de un regador. All Maui Jim sunglasses are saltwater safe and corrosion resistant. As with "hard" water, we suggest you rinse off any sunglass with filtered (tap) water, and wipe dry with a clean cloth.
We recommend that you visit your local sunglass retailer periodically to have them tighten the eye wire screws, attached temples and nose bridge.
